"We enjoyed our stay at this historic hotel. We were upgraded to a suite which was nice. The breakfast and restaurant were good and staff were keen to help. If I had a criticism it is that service can at times be slow despite there being lots of staff around. "
"There was no heat even though the temperature was below 50 degree Fahrenheit. The shower did not work and the food for breakfast had run out. Our rooms had absolutely no windows or sunlight. Badly needs renovation. Most importantly it’s being run with skimpy staff and so no one answered the telephones or took care of you. Sad because bones of property are great. "
"Location is perfect! Amazing view and atmosphere.
Very close to all destinations in Ooty
Food in the restaurant was good. Service was good. Room should be little more clean"
"Very helpful and professional staff. Very nice outside breakfast area, nice and clean room with good view, quiet location (you can even hear bird song), relaxed atmosphere, a few km from central Ooty. Small hotel in decent condition, offers tours and more to surroundings"
"Staff was hospitable but dining was not upto the mark. Food is extremely overpriced and is very average in taste. However, location of the property is very convinient."
"The staff provided friendly and resourceful service. The travel desk effectively arranged sightseeing tours for guests. However, the rooms needed a fresh coat of paint, and the bathrooms required renovation to enhance their appeal. "

10/10 Excellent
"We were really happy with our 3-night stay at this hotel. The staff is friendly and eager to help. The food is good, rooms are comfortable with adequate amenities.
The Bonfire on the misty and cold evenings were welcome - the evening 5 PM TEA Tasting was a warm touch.
Overall, very happy with our choice. "
"This is a property with a breathtaking view of the Ooty huills and valleys. The cottages are good although they now require a fresh coat of paint inside. Food is decent and the breakfast spread is very good and so is the dinner buffet. Hotel staff are helpful and response to the calls is quick. Hot water timings are restricted in the mornings and evenings but that's not too much of an issue. The hotel helped us with a immersion rod beyond the normal timings so that was very helpful. Overall, we had a great stay due to the lovely weather and the enchanting views from the balcony. Highly recommended for those looking for a hotel situated away from the hustle and bustle of the main town with peace and quiet amongst the company of nature and birds."
"First thing after reaching the location I couldn't find the property,After interrogating with localities, they told there is no such hotel. So in that location there was another hotel where the owner told lot of fake bookings are happening with name of the hotel. So no one helped from expedia customer care when I called on toll free number."

"It’s an excellent new hotel and well maintained property. Courteous staff and immaculate house keeping. Food at Buffet breakfast and dinner is quite extensive and tasty.
I wish the property were renting scooters to go to city and sight seeing. Auto or cab is the only mode of transportation. Majority of the residents have their own car.
I also recommend the management to start working on activity for hotel guests with corresponding transportation."
"Nothing in the property was right . The breakfast was terrible ! The tv don’t work . The doors don’t open . The bathroom are smelly . Please don’t visit the property "
"A great escape with great service. A bit out of town away from the noisy traffic, set in gorgeous surroundings. The room was very large and clean and beds were comfortable. Felt like 5 star. The bar and food options were good. Altogether a great stay where our every need was met."
