"We had a great experience at the Phaea Blue hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in virtually new condition. Food was excellent and the private beach, though pebbles (not sand) is very convenient. Wouldn't hesitate to return."

Food was fresh and gave the best selection. Each meal had two starters and three salads as well as a main three course selection. We were there a week and no repeats. Cost was low compared to outside restaurant's. Small beach on a sheltered bay. Close to a supermarket and walkable to town. We have been to Crete many times and...
