"Nobody is at the desk after 3pm even though they tell you to check in after 3pm, makes no sense. You have to use a separate entrance after 3pm, which nobody explained to me so i was locked out of the hotel and had to call customer service. They didn’t know how to help me so they had to call the person that lives on the property to come let me in. He barely spoke any English so he was confused on how to help me, but eventually he showed me how to use my key on the back door to get in (there is no...

Hotel Am Schloss Koepenick Berlin by Golden Tulip

"For what it was you could not argue. Great place to stay"
"Absolutely loved our stay here. Our double room turned out to be a huge apartment with plenty of space and even its own washer!
The staff here is so helpful and kind. They helped us figure our way around and even had tram tickets for sale so we didn't have to stress about it while we figured out the app and what we wanted to get for the rest of the trip.
The buffet breakfast is super and highly recommend getting it added on. We also ended up having dinner here three nights out of the five that we stayed because it worked out better for our plans and was also delicious. While the hotel is in area that may seem a bit out of the way, there is a tram stop right across the street, an Aldi's about a ten minute walk away to get whatever you want and several restaurants and cafes within a 20 minute walk.
Again, the helpfulness of the staff, the nice sized rooms and the food will definitely have us staying here if we are back versus any of the more "typical" chain hotels in the central area. "

He barely spoke any English so he was confused on how to help me, but eventually he showed me how to use my key on the back door to get in (there is no sign or obvious spot to put your key card). And because it’s a separate entrance you can’t use the elevator after 3pm which is annoying because i was on the 4th floor. The wifi was HORRIBLE. Every few minutes it would disconnect from my phone and i would have to go into my settings, turn off wifi entirely, then turn it back on and MAYBE the wifi would reconnect. If you’re not close to the lobby then the wifi doesn’t work (even in the lobby it was slow). It was just very underwhelming and barely met the standards. Wouldn’t stay here again let’s just put it that way. "
"I must say, one man that worked at the bar and restaraunt was very kind. Informative. The rest of the staff was young adults. Not very good at what they were doing. Management is awful. There is no one there at any time of day, if one needs anything. It was a struggle (and a day wait) to get another pillow and towel. The pillows are empty pillow cases. The blankets and sheets smell of faint mold, as if they're not dried properly. There is no air flow, even with windows open. Despite it being colder days, it was unbearably hot and stuffy. No AC. Showers had 2 spiders. Moths as well. I think they try to make it American style, while having 0 idea what America is. They focus on the decor, and lack in basic sanitation. The restaraunt food is very bad. I've stayed in motels in Turkish nature, and they weren't this foul or hot. Once again, management, the woman with short hair is a nightmare. Either she is racist or anti LGBT. But I never felt ok. The rest of Germany i felt safe. They also close the gates at night?? I felt very nervous. I opened the gate and went out for the night. Why close us in? Save your money, these people (besides the bartender male) are so bad. "
Cozy cottage by the forest with sauna, fireplace & WiFi
10/10 Excellent
"We rented the house to be near the race course for the Erkner Ironman triathlon. It was the perfect base. Very short drive (or bike ride on race morning) to the course and our time hanging at the house the rest of the weekend was very fun and relaxed. The kids loved the trampoline and box of toys in the yard. We all also enjoyed the sauna. The house is very cozy and comfortable and has everything you need. The hosts are also super friendly and communication is great. I would definitely recommend. "
