"The view was beautiful. The staff were nice. The room had ONE small towel bar in the bathroom. No other place/hook/closet for hanging anything including wet outer wear from hiking, or coats or towels and washcloths. No hooks or hangers anywhere in the room. For a place near the rain forest and the beach, places to hang things to dry should be a requirement. The dining room and meal were very good. However, it only served dinner. The only other restaurants required driving several miles to another city for food and groceries."

"Liked the house but main bedroom needs a mattress topper it was really hard and the pillows could have been better too. It would also be nice to have ceramic pans in the kitchen and get rid of all the Teflon pans. Just before you make a reservation know you do not have pool access through VRBO at Seabrook."

"My wife and I plus our dog had a great 2 night stay! The place was super cute and had everything we needed. The hot tub was very nice to relax in after a day at the beach. The fully fenced back yard was perfect to let our dog do his business off leash. On the map it looks like a further walk to town than it actually is, it’s a very reasonable walk to town and to the beach. Check in/out was very simple and straightforward. Would definitely stay here again!"

"We had a nice stay. There were a few details that could be improved and we shared those upon leaving to a very positive response. The home is definitely dated and could use some sprucing up. You must bring extra towels both kitchen and bath to have enough. Also there are no cooking oils or spices so pack those as well! We lived the beach, pickleball and the restaurant (pizza and mexican) were fab!"
Seabrook's Ramble On: Dog Friendly!

"Cute 2 bdrm 2 bath cottage in Nantucket-like Seabrook in mid August, but the unit was starting to show wear n tear. Torn decor pillows, window shade cords broken, no screens on windows so had to have doors open for fresh air - a few examples. We didn't use the pool or large park, but it's a nice available perk. Pet friendly cottage and town was great and entire area very walkable and bikeable. Gnome hike was adorable. Seabrook's fees beyond the nightly room cost make visits to this town very pricey and even though we enjoyed our 3 night, mid week stay, there were not enough restaurants, shops etc. for us to consider going back. The shops and restaurants there are all very upscale priced, and seemed to have limited hours. The ice cream shop closed at 5 pm on a Wed peak summer season :-/ (it has long lines when it was open), several shops were only open 11 am - 5 pm. It was interesting to note, being mid August - PEAK summer vacay season during our visit, that we were the only occupied rental on our street. Seemed like there were a lot of vacancies on other streets too, which made it nice/quiet for us, but might be why the retail offering is weak. It is a cute, family oriented concept and we hope it survives and improves to entice us back someday."
