"Woodhouse Mountain Lodge was an ideal escape for us. Situated on a mountainside that feels remote despite being minutes from a highway, this lodge offers villas that feel secluded and "away from it all," along with ocean views. The villas are luxuriously appointed with comfortable beds, large bathrooms, gas fireplaces and beautiful artwork. We enjoyed walking the grounds, sweating in the sauna, and eating delicious meals at the lodge. The staff were super friendly. If you're looking for a...

10/10 Excellent
We stayed here st the start of our trip through New Zealand. The hotel was clean and fresh and in a good location for just walking about and exploring. Breakfast was good and varied and the dinner and lunch options were varied too.
Room was great - we did get a free upgrade on checkin which was nice. Works are still going on to finish the build but it did not impact on our stay at all and they are very up front about them happening.
