"Our stay was good, not what I expected, but decent. Our room had marina view, which was nice, but we were sent to another tower some what far from the main. The jacuzzi did not work and the pool was freezing cold. Our room needs to be updated, needs renovation, but the room looked clean. Parking is expensive too, plus resort fee on top of booking. Close to San Diego city zoo but 30 minutes away from safari San diego zoo."

"At first I was a little skeptical upon arrival with the location but the staff and the people who stayed there made everything immensely better! They don’t serve breakfast but had fresh coffee and hot cocoa and tea all the time! You can cook in your hotel room to save money and once inside (it was gated so it felt super safe!) the palm trees/ bushes felt like a hidden get away! The staff themselves were so accommodating and really made the stay so much better! At first I wanted to stay in a normal hotel like the Marriott or other typical hotels but I’m reallllllly glad I stayed here! Next time we come to SD, we will be staying here again!:)"

"What a great facility for families. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The ammenities are wonderful for kids, with lots of things for them to do to stay entertained. The views are gorgeous, and the bayfront rooms allow easy access to the beach at any point. We'll definitely be back with family and friends."

"I had a lovely room with a view of the mountain and foliage. I really appreciated that. Also the windows opened, so I was able to let in some fresh air. That was nice. I was pleasantly surprised with the room, grateful for the gracious hospitality of the staff, and enjoyed my experience overall. Thank you!"

"Small room but that is to be expected for a building from the early 1900’s. It was comfortable and in a convenient area for what we wanted to do while in San Diego. Needs some upkeep but overall a good experience."
