"We stayed in Helena, it was very clean and well equipped. Concern about escape routes in the event of a fire. Some rooms didn’t have a large enough window to get out of. Swimming pool great, as was the hot tub. Lovely setting near Blandford. Would recommend getting shopping delivered as quite remote. "

"If you are looking for a beautiful, quiet and clean place to stay in the heart of the Dorset countryside with plenty of room, set up for walkers yet perfect for others, this is the place. We loved the easy access to a variety of places to visit and eat, the copious hot water, streaming tv ( so we could introduce my sister and husband to our favourite shows), our friendly hosts, some home cooked meals and the babbling brook at the end of the garden."

"My large family and I stayed here over Christmas and we had the most wonderful time. The house is spectacular and full of old world historical charm and had been decorated with a Christmas tree and garland making it truly festive. There is the most wonderful dining room where we ate our holiday meal and played dinner games with a raging fire burning in the 1500s fireplace.
