"The reason for our stay was to get out of the heat in Florida! We used to have a place at Higgins Lake until 3 years ago. We always enjoyed it here. It's a different pace of life compared to downstate and Florida. More relaxing. We miss that. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. They made sure it was equipped with everything you would need. Very clean and neat. It definitely gives you that "Up North" feel."

"Communication with owner and the lady who's the manages the rentals was fantastic. They were considerate but couldn't help out since the whole place was booked that day. It emptied out the following day and we didn't get offered a better spot. According to Vrbo we thought we rented the one 20 steps off the water because of medical reasons and ended up 150 steps off the water with a small concrete slab and a gravel parking lot outside our door. "This was a perfect cabin for our weekend family getaway. My kids loves the bunk beds and the fact they had their own room. Beds were comfortable and the grey blankets were super soft and cozy to snuggle up in! The cabin is in a great location and was super easy to find. It is in a quiet neighborhood and we had a wonderful view of the lake from the front windows. Ken and Angelina were fantastic hosts and so easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Came here with my wife, 4 kids ages 2-11 and my dogs. This place was perfect for us. It has a great back yard that all the kids loved. Inside was nice and clean and had all the amenities we needed. Lots of toys for my little ones. Overall great stay!! Not far from the lake at all."

"This is an absolute amazing place to stay if you are trying to get away! My family and friends have been getting together to go hunting every Thanksgiving weekend for the last 12 years and this is by far the best place we've ever stayed. It gives the feeling of getting away while still ensuring a familiar home notion. The pool table is a fun addition for entertainment. The kitchen is furnished and we cooked breakfast and dinners everyday. This is place is super popular so if you get the chance to rent it, do it! We missed out last year but were super happy to get it again this year. I highly recommend staying here, just not Thanksgiving weekend because we want it every year : ). The property managers are super kind and helpful. The place is also super clean and the layout of the place is great! Lastly, the location of the place is right next to the downtown stores. Check them out if you can!"
