"This lovely cottage was perfect for our sisters’ getaway. The owners have lovingly updated it, preserving its vintage charm, while providing many modern conveniences. It has lots of sleeping room, outdoor seating, and a large fire pit. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you might need. It’s very clean. The beds are comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. What a wonderful place for a getaway. Wish we could have stayed longer!"

"This is a beautiful lakefront property with a large deck and fire pit which was a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the view. Higgins Lake is so clear and blue! The inside was clean and well appointed. The kitchen was well equipped for any type of cooking. The dining table was large and was situated right between a huge picture window and beautiful stone fireplace. There is also a large TV room with lots of seating. The three bedrooms were spacious and well decorated with good pillows and bedding. Bathrooms were very clean and the water pressure was great...also no issue with running out of hot water!! And it was hot...not tepid like some other places I have contracted with. There is a separate "bunk room" building that we did not use but it was really nice. It had a nice front porch with furniture. There was a little kitchenette with a refrigerator, coffeemaker and it may have had a microwave but I don't remember. There was also a full bath which was nice. Great place for kids/teenagers. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it...an especially nice touch was a Welcome S'mores basket to enjoy around the firepit."

"Couldn’t have asked for a better experience and living space. Although the property doesn’t look great from the street, don’t let it fool you. It’s a beautiful cottage with a spacious backyard and amenities. The host was responsive to requests and very accommodating."
