The staff and the restaurant are great. The ambience is always good and the quirkiness of the former prison is fun to stay in. On the negative side, the room has not a single hook or hanger for a towel, the towels are too small and the toilet paper seems like genuine prison standard

We had a lovely time here! It was quiet and beautiful to walk around the area. Not far to get to Amsterdam by car and enjoy the bustle of the city then back to country life. Lovely to have the rooftop deck, amenities were great!

Very quiet and safe. Deborah, the host, was quick to respond and very helpful with places to eat, activities in the area, and places to visit. Location was great as it’s an easy walk to City Centrum and the train station. Would definitely stay here again.
