"This property fit our needs as a retired couple perfectly. Clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and a great spot to just relax in when rains came in. We didn’t use the pool area but it looked very inviting.It is close to everything and to surrounding towns for tourist types of things. I look forward to staying here again next time we are in Corpus Christi! Thank you!"

"Door lock was broken,bathroom mirror was broken, balcony door didnt close fully, no toilet paper roll holder, fridge was covered in ice, carpet was sticky, window shutter were broken preventing you from blocking out parking lot lights."

"Cant see through the windows, previous persons hair in the bed, carpet stained all on the 2nd floor. Really has that "we use to care but that is no longer in the budget" feel to it."

"This property is in an excellent location to visit North Padre Island! It is an easy 5 minute walk to the beach and a 2-3 minutes drive to a bunch of places to eat and enjoy the island. It is only about 5 minutes to Doc's Seafood under the bridge you use to get to the island (AWESOME food and service) and Snoopy's Pier (less awesome food, but a fun local place). The condo/apartment has nice appliances and very good tv/internet. We didn't use the small porch as it was being repaired/repainted while we were there, but it looked nice. We walked around the pool and clubhouse and they also looked very nice, but we had other plans. This is an older complex, but I can tell they work to keep it updated. The trade off is a great cost per night for an amazing location! I can see why others come back to Tommie's oasis on Padre regularly.Drive further out on the island to the National park celebrating the island. Nice area and fun to walk another section of beach out there.Our only issue is that the cleaner needs to do a better job. Tommie was very responsive and surprised at the issues, so I'm sure he will address it with the cleaning folks. The overall complex hallway carpet is a bit worn, but that is expected in an area with seawater spray regularly in the sir.Overall, a very good value and excellent location."
