Good

The location was great, very walkable. It was convenient having restaurants on site. However, arriving one hour early after a day of traveling and be told we have to pay $25 to get in our room early was very frustrating. The room was ready. Our options were to stand in the small lobby for an hour or pay $25. No offer to hold our luggage, etc. The room needs updating. The headboard was flaking and there was sticky stuff on the wall. There was a bottle cap left in the bathroom and a lot of dirt built up in the corners. The location was nice, but I will not stay here again.

IRA is the best part of this hotel!! The WiFi was spotty but the place is beautiful and well located. The new supper club is insanely gorgeous!! And the gym!!!!!

I rarely write hotel reviews, but this stay deserved one because it fell well below the expectations set by the Hyatt brand. The location is excellent, and the room was clean. Unfortunately, almost every other aspect of the stay was disappointing. The pillows were uncomfortable, the HVAC was extremely difficult to regulate (the room was either too cold or blowing warm air), and the shower water pressure was weak. Service was the biggest disappointment. We were told during booking that complimentary wine was included, but it never arrived. Our room was missing the TV remote, and it took about 2 hours for one to be delivered. The valet experience summed up our stay. Parking is valet only, at $60/day with no self-parking. When I called because I couldn't find my valet ticket, the front desk said, "No problem, just bring your ID." However, when I arrived at the valet, I was simply told to "look at the sign" regarding the lost-ticket policy and informed of a $56 replacement fee. I understand policies exist, but the inconsistent communication and dismissive attitude left a very poor impression. None of these issues alone would have ruined our stay. Together, they created an experience that simply did not justify the price or reputation of this hotel. We stayed at 4 hotels during this road trip, and this was by far the least satisfying. This was a 2-star experience at a premium price. I will think twice before booking another Hyatt.
