"Overall, we were very pleased with the Castle Manor Inn. We stayed in the main house on the second floor and had a lovely view. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a little dated but spacious, comfortable, and well-furnished. The bathroom was small, but everything worked well and it was clean. In general, the room seemed quite clean, although we found some trash under the bed from a previous guest. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast, but we appreciated the complimentary coffee. Loved sitting on the wraparound porch in the morning. We were very happy with our choice. For guests planning to spend time at Gloucester Harbor, it is worth mentioning that the direct route from the hotel to the harbor passes over a canal with a bridge that opens for passing boats. Three out of the four times we tried to cross the bridge, we got stuck for 10-20 minutes waiting for the boats to pass. Not a big deal, but it's not quite as convenient to get to the harbor as you might expect. Overall, though, we would be happy to stay at the Castle Manor Inn again and would recommend it to anyone. "

"We had an amazing experience at The Salem Inn! We stayed here while filming a ghost hunt for my YouTube channel ThisGhostStory, and the location did not disappoint. The atmosphere was perfect—historic, cozy, and just the right amount of spooky. We experienced a lot of paranormal activity during our stay and can’t wait to dive into the footage and start editing the video! The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the inn itself is full of charm and character. If you're into history or the paranormal, this is the place to be in Salem. "We just absolutely love the ambience of the hotel, friendly staff. The rooms were adorable. I loved the little touches. Excellent location. We ate at both the Tavern for dinner the food was delicious. We went to breakfast at Nathaniel’s and the incredible. We were able to see the witches museum and the park right from our room. Can’t wait to come back! "
