"Our host Hervé, Amélee and family are really nice people. Although the studio is part of their home, we were given the utmost privacy, seeing them on the odd occasion. The studio is a super base to explore the region, and is close to the lake, and cycle route. We rarely used our vehicle, instead, cycling to Annecy and Doussard. The area is a great place for outdoor activities, and although we visited in the summer, no doubt it would be an excellent winter holiday base. We look forward to...

"This quiet, comfortable Annecy apartment is within reasonable walking distance of lake, old town, groceries, shopping, and restaurants. The kitchen is very well equipped. Secure garage parking is available, but costs an additional 20 Euro per night. Also, the security deposit is made in cash, which we had not expected.The shower is adequate, although it drains slowly – just a head’s up! We were surprised by a puddle our first morning. "We like to book via VRBO because we can use their app to communicate with the host. Unfortunately this host is not there to see to the check-in and check-out. Her concierge for the check-in could only contact us via email due to our limitations and him not having access to VRBO. We had to wait for him to be available. On checkout it was someone else and the host did not let them know that we could only communicate via email so we had to take our chance and leave the keys under the mat....

"Nice property in a fantastic location. Walkable to everything. Enough space for the 3 of us traveling together and sharing a room. Air conditioning was not working in all of the rooms so some others I traveled with were quite warm. They stored our luggage so we could be out of the room on time but still explore before we needed to get to the train station."

"It is an excellently located hotel. It is extremely tidy and clean. In terms of what can be improved, the rooms are a bit dated in my view but bedding and size of rooms are excellent. The bar could be more atmospheric and less functional, and the gym is extremely basic (less of an issue in a place like Annecy which is a dream for fitness in general). Overall, it’s an excellent choice for Annecy."

"We had a lovely stay at the Campanile. Excellent location for the old town and the station. The staff were lovely, especially the breakfast lady who was so cheerful and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, the only downside was the shower head which was nothing more than a dribble. Get that fixed and it would be a 5 star review."
