"About the resort: -The room was clean and bed comfy. -Clean bathroom! It was quiet and peaceful. -Needs better lighting in room overall. -At end of season so restaurant had some items missing from menu. -Kitty was a great help at the check in desk. Very kind! About the area: -If you are looking to see Mt St Helens up close, it is a 2-plus hour drive from Lone Fir to Windy Ridge. -one small convenience store and one other restaurant nearby"

"Great house with a nicely stocked kitchen. Not much in the area for eating out. The Cougar bar is about it and service was slow so we left. No big deal as we planned on cooking but something to keep in mind. No grocery stores close by."

"This was such a cute location and within walking distance to small restaurants and stores/gas. Loved how cozy the place was and actually surprised by how big it was when you walked in. It had everything you need for the stay. Very clean and had the rustic vibe. Would stay again."
