The whole hotel experience was fantastic. Reception was quick and helpful. Our room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. It was dark and quiet during the night. Air con worked (which is unusual in hotels to be honest). The bar and late night food were great and breakfast was fabulous.

"Lovely staff and an excellent breakfast. It's a beautiful old building - the room decoration is.... quirky, but I suppose it makes it memorable! The only issue we had was that the road was fairly noisy (it's an A road), but it quietened down after about 11pm."
