Small but very attractive and well equipped.
Small but very attractive and well equipped. Very pleasant, helpful owners who have a charming woodland garden. Plenty of places to visit locallyand the local pubs, The Star, The Swan and the eccentric Nelson's Head are all very friendly and provide very good meals.

We had a lovely week at The Old Stables.
We had a lovely week at The Old Stables. Jonathan and Marianne were great hosts and were there with a warm welcome when we arrived. The woodland and grounds were great to walk through and felt like an adventure. The stable was small as expected but perfect enough for a couple and our dog. If I had to find anything as a negative it was that the sofa was a hard and not very comfy and there werent any cushions, but it didn't impact on our stay at all. There isn't an oven but there is a 2 ring hob and combi microwave and there is everything else you need for cooking etc. The place is ideally located for the beach which is a 5 minute drive and free parking after 6pm meant it was perfect to watch the sun set. The nearest town is not too far and there are some great farm shops just a short distance away and the broads at Wroxham just a 20-30minute drive. Great stay and would happily return.

Lovely little cottage, and if it wasn’t for our elderly dog bumping into the bed during the night when it was in use, we would definately stay again. Hosts were very helpful, and lovely touch to have some bread milk and cookies when we arrived, as well as a lovely bottle of wine!
