Sleeping four guests, the appealing, single-storey, two-bedroom retreat is just 100 metres from the sandy beach and the seaside trail that follows the route of both the Peddars Way and the Norfolk Coast Path. Set on the ground floor of the coastal building, the apartment opens on to a wrap-around patio, where you can bask in the sunshine and fire up the BBQ.
Return from your days out to kick off your sandals or unlace your walking boots then head through to the gorgeous, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner for a little rest and relaxation. Open the patio doors in here on warm days or find a film to enjoy on the TV on cosy winter evenings. Make your way over to the kitchen to brew a fresh cup of tea to enjoy at the breakfast bar. Take turns at whipping up delicious meals with the fresh produce you have bought in the village, then set the table and call everyone to gather round. There is also a handy utility room. When you are ready to turn in for the night, wander through to either the king-size bedroom, which has an en-suite bathroom, or the twin. There is also a family shower room at the apartment. Have breakfast on the patio on sunny mornings and relax out here with a glass of wine on balmy evenings.
Plan trips into Cromer, 7.5 miles away, to go to the beach there too or to stroll along the pier, with its famous theatre, or potter in the shops. Have an afternoon out to the National Trust’s Felbrigg Hall, 9 miles away, where you can visit the mansion house and amble through the parkland.
