This was our first time staying in an apartment/hotel, and I can definitely say based on our stay here that we will plan to look for those during future travel. The front desk staff were kind and helpful, and staying here made our Norwich vacation extra special. 5 stars!

We do not recommend Wellington Apartments
There is no mention on the website that these apartments are situated behind a nightclub. The continuous base noise from the nightclub music could be heard until almost 2am. We had a very disturbed nights sleep as a result and decided to cut short our stay rather than endure for a second night.

Great location and reasonably affordable. Other reviews mentioned it can be noisy cos it's right next to all the clubs but we were staying at the basement and with the windows shut, we couldn't hear anything!

The location is in a small narrow lane. Access is difficult and no parking which was challenging with luggage. Hotel is near a number of night clubs so quite noisy especially on closing.

Not great, but nice staff
No hot water so had to have a cold shower. Strange rule about no noise after 10pm, when it backs on to the nightclubs of prince of wales road which blast out music all night! Staff were really friendly though and location is great.

Lovely stay!
I loved my 2 bed and it was so quiet! The shower could have been hotter. Grouting around bath needs attention. There is a short cut outside the complex leading to high street and a Tesco Express. Whilst this may not come under the remit of the property, the lights were out. This made it unsafe as you could not see at all well. Would be great if they could sort this, especially for women travelling alone. Staff were lovely and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely stay again as its walking distance from the station too!

Nice central place to stay
It was a very clean space with a well equipped kitchen. The heating was not great -- radiators did not work but had OK air heaters and the blinds closed but didn't open! Maybe they were just decorative? But a nice stay at a convenient place with lovely staff.

Never heard of the Wellington Apartments before and knew the location so was a little worried as too what I would see when I turned up. Really surprised by how nice it was, staff really friendly and helpful too. Room (studio) was really spacious and well decorated. Was noisy at night but tbh with the location I’d expect that. Great base if you are also planning to stay out late too!

The hotel is very close to a night club and I could not sleep. The manager was unhelpful and when I canceled the reservation I was charged a discount and they did not give me the rest of the money.

Not recommended if you’re looking for a quiet loca
Ideally located for the bars & clubs, as long as you don’t mind being kept awake until 04:00.. During the week is probably okay, but weekends are very noisy

Reception was nice. The room was clean but very tired. No air con or fan so was hot overnight. The shortcut to the main road wasn’t safe to use at night.

The apartment style of the property is good, plenty if room, its walkable to the main areas of norwich, and the train station. However there is no on site parking, its a little dirty around the property including the walking alley to get to the main street. Also there are night clubs very close, we were there on a weekend, our unit overlooked the courtyard and the noise from those clubs was terrible and went on all night unfortunately. Would still recommend the property as a good value for your money accomodation

The Wellington Apartments in Norwich, England
The Wellington was by far the nicest accommodations I had during my two-week trip to England. A kitchen including stovetop with a handy supermarket a couple hundred yards away wa. s wonderful. The apartment included bathroom, living area, dining table and of course, sleeping area. The three windows I had provided wonderful light throughout. The Wellington is within easy walking distance of Norwich Cathedral. It is a ten-minute walk to the train station if you don't want to call a taxi. I highly recommend.

Great place for a long stay
We spent a month at the apt. It was great to have a small kitchen. Our room was very roomy. They cleaned once a week and provided supplies in between if needed. Staff at front desk were very nice. Only concern was the security of the grounds. There were gates that were not locked. Access to the building was with a code entry, but first floor windows did not provide any security from an open garden area.

Second time staying here and it did not disappoint. Apartments are so clean and well equipped with everything you may need. A huge list of extras you can request. We requested a non slip bath mat and a fan as we have a baby and it came up minutes later! Nothing we could fault. Parking is about 5 minutes walk and not too costly at all but there is cheaper parking all round we just use the multi storey for ease. Some reviews mention noise from the nightclubs- we stayed Friday-Sunday and did not hear anything. Will definitely be returning.

Long weekend stay
This was our first ever stay in Norwich for a 4 night trip. Unaware the apartments are in "clubland" so sleeping is an issue as clubs were open Thurs/Fri/Sat nights and music went on til at least 3.30am. Other than that we really enjoy our stay - staff very knowledgeable and friendly and security good. Had to point out litter issue below our bedroom window which was not acted upon for at least 2 days.

Wellington apartments cancelled my booking & relet our 3 apartments because they couldn't contact me on the aft of our arrival whilst I was out cycling. There was an issue because I've changed credit cards & luckily we all found somewhere else for the night but this was a poor way to treat a customer.
