We were a bit disappointed with this hotel. They have two building trading under the same name. If you book Canary Golden, you are staying in the old building at the back but still need to go to the newest building for breakfast. If you book Canary and Spa then you are staying at the newish building. We stayed at the Golden one. The rooms need attention urgently. The bathroom was the worse with slow drainage, water coming out from the loo etc. The towels provided is a cry for help. The first night they were stained and ripped, it wasn’t nice. The staff is ok, they asked you to check in online but the. We spent like 30 minutes doing the check in anyway. I understand that is good value to stay at this hotel but there are some basics they need to keep up even with better prices than most. The one big win with this hotel is the location. Perfect location is you are not staying in one of the big resorts; however, my advice is stay in a big resort if you can. The spa was good, great massages.

Stayed for one week with my family. Ordered a family room for 4 persons, got two rooms in stead. There are two hotel areas, unfortunatly we had the oldest part. Could be a nice place, but really need some upgrade! The pool here where dirty all the time. All the staff where serviceminded and kind.

Do NOT trust the description on Expedia app eg On beach. No it’s not on the beach…that’s 3-4 minutes walk away and you have to walk through a DIFFERENT hotel to get to the beach. The WiFi was so poor that it did not reach our room. So no internet or calls if you don’t have an international cell. Their internet also ran the TV in room so no internet - no TV. Here’s a big issue for my wife - The patio door did not lock for security. Every time the cleaners opened the door, as they could not lock it, they just left it open. The staff were not bothered than we wanted security for our belongings, just telling us ‘it’ll be fine. The safe buttons did not work - they had to give me a staff key to use. The reception staff were not interested in addressing anything part from one lovely young man doing the night shift who tried his best to fix the internet to no avail. The manager just made a ton of excuses and bordered being just rude. And no chance for a relaxing drink at the ‘bar’ or enjoying a nice chilled glass of wine at dinner. This is a ‘DRY’ hotel. No alcohol is served on the premises. Which is fine, just not mentioned anywhere before one books! As a seasoned traveller, the is not a 4 star hotel, barely a 3! If you want a cold beer or refreshing mojito, you have to walk to the nearest bar a few minutes away - where the staff there were awesome. Shout out to Nungwi Park Resturant and Bar.

The stay was great because of Moana's wonderful service. Everything else was average. During rainy days they do not pay attention to detail and i slipped and fell on the stairs at breakfast which i did not like.

Our stay at this hotel was truly amazing. The property is big, clean, and beautifully maintained. The staff were extremely friendly, always greeting us with a smile, and very helpful throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We had half board, and the food was excellent with plenty of variety. Dinner was especially enjoyable, as it was served by the pool with beautiful lights creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Sometimes they even played music during dinner, which made the experience even more enjoyable. What impressed us most was how the staff handled our situation when our bags were delayed at the airport. They kept following up with the airline on our behalf, which really reduced our stress and showed how much they care for their guests. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!

Personalen va helt underbara, så gästvänliga. Städningen va super. Ok frukost. Mindre bra va att de glömde alltid att fylla på toapapper och våra utemöbler bytte de 3 ggr på en vecka. Musiken i baren va otroligt hög och vi hade vårat rum precis där. Lakanan var noppiga och täckena va knöliga.

Hôtel de qualité

J’avais réservé une chambre pour une nuit au Canary Hotel & Spa, et j’ai finalement décidé de rester trois jours de plus et j’ai même eu le droit à un surclassement. L’hôtel que j’avais initialement réservé était en rénovation, donc cela s’est avéré être une véritable bénédiction ! Je suis extrêmement satisfaite de mon séjour. L’atmosphère est chaleureuse et agréable, les chambres sont propres, et le personnel est toujours attentionné, bienveillant et prêt à aider. Les massages sont de très bonne qualité et à un prix très raisonnable. De plus, la plage se trouve à seulement 5 minutes à pied, ce qui est très pratique. Le petit-déjeuner est également très complet et varié, avec du pain frais, des omelettes, des fruits, du café et du thé… Si je reviens dans la région, je n’hésiterai pas une seconde à séjourner de nouveau dans cet hôtel. Une expérience vraiment agréable et sans souci.

Das Fühstück und die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und toll. DasBet war sehr bequem, nicht zu hart und nicht durchgelegen. Das Einzige was genervt hat war, das der Roomservice öfters Handtücher oder Toillettenpapier vergessen hat und der Hahn der in den frühen Morgenstunden direkt neben uns am krähen war.Aber das ist jetzt jammern auf hohem Niveau...alles in allem war es super und wir würden wieder kommen.
