Lovely setting, just a pity about the breakfast which is very limited.

All was basically fine. There are a few things you need to be aware of: the WC handle in our room was loose and functioned poorly; the shower screen seal on the fixed pane seems non existent, flooding the floor when the shower is used, the WC was not really clean, superficially so but filthy on the left hand side, not readily seen when looking directly down at it. The room was clean and warm, the bed fantastic, very comfortable and spacious. We would have preferred to not have to go to reception for additional tea bags, only one each! Also, maybe I’m old fashioned, but not having the bed made when staying at a hotel does seem odd??

Certainlyclean room and staff really helpful. Good to enjoy a warm welcome and cozy environment with very chilly weather outside
