Staff was nice and the room was clean. Breakfast was off brand fig bars and coffee cup had no lid. We checked in late and the staff member was behind bulletproof glass. Yikes. She was really nice though. In the morning there was a guy smoking a big weed cigar right outside of his room (at least he smoked outside). It wasn’t awful by any means but I think it should have been cheaper for what you get/ where you are.

Really good basic room

The room was great! Clean, with everything needed. The neighborhood is OK, I never felt unsafe, but it is right in the middle of everything, close to the freeway and train. I will definitely stay there again.

The room was clean and maintained. Everything worked. The breakfast was a BIG disappointment. It consisted of coffee and nutrigrain bars!

What Breakfast ??????

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The shower was leaking badly and spayed water all over the bathrooom. The door strip was missing and the road noise was awful we had to use a towel to try and bridge the gap under the door. The breakfast is non existent. A cup of coffee , a cup of juice and a granola bar and that was it. It’s a disgrace that that even call this breakfast.

My stay was peaceful. The staff was nice An annoying fly was in my room the whole time from check in to departure lol but we survived. It was the 4th of July so it was loud of course but we enjoyed our stay

We only stayed 1 night, as a stop before the airport. We didnt need much. Overall, very comfortable for what we needed. Clean room, no smoke smell in the room. Sometimes I find that happens in smaller motels. Although we didnt use it, to our surprise there was a fridge and microwave. There were restaurants near by that we drive to. We had a fine stay.

It says breakfast but that’s a definite no. Don’t expect coffee either unless you go into office after 7 lol. Staff was pleasant and really friendly. Rooms clean inside. Neighborhood was a little on rougher side. Outside area is aged. It’s a place to sleep.

The front desk was super friendly. As soon as I opened the door to my room and turned on the lights, 2 roaches ran across the floor. There was blood stains on the floor. There was also bed bugs and chewed up sunflower seeds on the dresser. I ended up trying to sleep sitting up in a chair just to get some rest but that was difficult. I checked out as soon as the sun came up.

This was definitely one of the worst places I have ever stayed at, especially for a Days Inn. It's the worst Days Inn I have seen or stayed at. I know Hayward doesn't have the best reputation, but it's also not the worst. I chose this place based on the other reviews and I was highly disappointed. Yes, it's a 2-star hotel, but it was actually one of the more expensive 2-stars in the area. The best part of the place was the staff. The front desk lady was friendly. Otherwise, I would have given a 1-star review. Other reviews said that the breakfast was a plus or the best part about the place. All they had was Nutrigrain bars and juice boxes. That's a joke. The stairwell and walkways smelled pretty bad. Inside, the odor was more subtle, it was mostly covered by the air freshener. There were 3 holes in the walls in the room. The beds were well-worn and bouncy. There was a broken panel of some sort on the wall. The exterior walls were very dirty, interior walls were a little worn and slightly dirty. Pro - the staff was nice at the front desk. Cons - everything else. The beds, the breakfast, the smell, old paint, worn out facility. This place just looks and smells rundown. It needs A LOT of work. I did not see any of the other positives from the other reviews.

Very dirty place hookers in the other rooms, room smelled so bad, pure cigarette smell. No towels sheets stained and holes of cigarette burns. No continental breakfast at all. False advertising on webpage.

False information about hotel in the website. I really don’t know how this place has 4 stars. It’s a lie this place does not have continental breakfast they only have coffee and granola bars. Rooms smell a lot like cigarettes. Even the restroom. Sheets have holes of cigarette burns and are stain. Homeless people hang out and sleep in the rooms. Sheets and pillows are dirty and smell dirty and cigarettes smell. This place needs inspection immediately

Front desk was sleeping and rude, blankets had cigarette burn marks, the whole place smells like cigarettes, tv channels are mostly static, “breakfast” is just coffee and granola bars. The pictures are nicer than in person. Overall worse stay I’ve ever had. I would never go back !

Great price.

For the price it was good. The staff was friendly and we were upgraded to 2 queens because the request of a king was not cleaned yet. We got a room on the third floor at the very end. I also liked the location because the freeway was a block away.
