A small, cosy two-story apartment located in the heart of the historic district, just two blocks from the Zócalo on García Vigil Street—the most picturesque street in Oaxaca’s historic district—within walking distance of all the tourist attractions, as well as the best restaurants and art galleries.

The apartment is compact; please keep this in mind.
The apartment has two floors.
On the ground floor, you’ll find the kitchen, dining room, and a bedroom with a queen-size bed and a full bathroom.
Upstairs, you’ll find the living room and a bedroom with a queen-size bed and a full bathroom.
The air conditioning is located in the bedrooms.
If you’d like to bring a larger group, we recommend asking about our other two units, which can accommodate up to 8 people.

Access to the complex is via a small plaza with craft shops and a café; the café offers breakfast delivery to the apartment.

Oaxaca’s historic centre is the best part of the city to start and end your tour of all the tourist attractions Oaxaca has to offer.

To visit the historic centre, you can simply get around on foot. Public transport is available to reach most nearby towns, or you can book a tour in the area to explore various destinations.

SAFETY:
Our properties have a night security guard who can assist our guests with whatever they need. If a neighbour is making too much noise, please let us know, and we’ll send the security guard right away to ensure the rules are followed.

NOISE POLICY:
Oaxaca’s historic centre is a multicultural place, full of traditions and delicious food; an essential part of our customs includes folklore and music, which can often cause unexpected noise during celebrations. In addition, some residents have dogs as guard animals and some farm animals, such as cockerels.

This may disturb your sleep; with this in mind, we’ve made sure to include earplugs in the first-aid kit and a white noise machine that you can use if needed.

CLIMATE CHANGE:
Dear guest, when confirming your reservation, please check the weather forecasts for our city during the dates you plan to visit, so you can get an idea of the current temperature and whether you should expect rain or other weather events. This will help enhance your experience; and please remember that, as mentioned above, we only have air conditioning in the bedrooms, not in the common areas

Guest Policies

I. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF THE RULES

These guest rules will be in effect from May 2025 through May 2026, during which time the guest expressly and tacitly acknowledges, upon making a reservation, that they accept and are fully aware of these regulations, and that they agree to and comply with all the points mentioned herein; it is the guest’s obligation to read them and act in accordance with them.

II. PAYMENT FOR ACCOMMODATIONS

A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of at least 20% of the total amount for accommodation, including taxes. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the stay; if the balance is not received, the reservation will be immediately cancelled, releasing AALOJAT from any liability to the guest. The minimum 20% required as a deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE after the dates specified in the policies.

III. CHECK-IN

Check-in time for the room is from 3:00 p.m. onward, and check-out time must be no later than 11:00 a.m. Management reserves the right to grant an early check-in if the property becomes available earlier, as well as to grant a late check-out if availability permits on the desired date; however, there is no obligation to grant these benefits even if the guest requests them.

IV. PROPERTY CARE

We recommend that you review the room inventory upon arrival, as, at checkout, it will be inspected, and in the event of any missing items or damage, the guest will be responsible for covering the costs, which will be charged in Mexican pesos to replace the item or repair the damage.

V. USE OF UTILITIES

Utilities (water, electricity, gas, etc.) provided by the owners must be used in good faith; wasteful or excessive use of these services is not included in the price. This helps us keep rates affordable and protect the environment; All guests are required to close windows, entry doors, and water valves, and to turn off lights and air conditioners when leaving the room.

VI. PROPERTY CLEANING

The company’s properties offer different included services, as well as amenities, locations, and designs. Not all properties include cleaning services; however, you can confirm whether or not this applies to your stay in the manual sent to you for check-in. In that document, you can see whether you are entitled to this service or if you must pay a fee. If cleaning is included, you must request it in advance, and it will be performed between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. at the latest. Guests may opt for daily cleaning or accept the hosts’ suggestion. We recommend making the request well in advance, as it is subject to availability. Guests who do not make their rooms available during those hours will not receive cleaning services. Linens, such as towels and bed sheets, will be replaced after a 7-day stay, at which time the room will also be cleaned. If you require these items before this date, an additional fee will apply. Stains on sheets that can be easily removed will incur an additional charge of MXN $50.00 per item. (Face towels are excluded.) Linen items that cannot be stain-removed (due to hair dye, paint, rust, sauce, permanent markers, etc.) will be charged at the cost of a new item in Mexican pesos; we will inform you of the amount if this occurs. (See the attached table).




VII. SECURITY MEASURES WITHIN THE ROOM

Any item or cash valued at more than $ $250.00 must be reported to management before the start of the stay, so that their existence can be verified and a record made that they will be in the room. Guests must store their valuables in the safes located on the properties. Management is not responsible for the loss or misplacement of items or cash left in guest rooms or in the public areas of the properties that have not been registered.

VIII. LOST AND FOUND ITEMS

Items or valuables left behind by a guest at any of our properties’ facilities will be held by management for a period of up to fifteen days; after which they will be disposed of as lost property. If a guest wishes to retrieve them, shipping costs will be borne by the guest, who agrees to pay an additional 25% to cover the time spent by our employees on this additional task.

IX. QUIET AND RESPECT FOR OTHER GUESTS AND HOTEL STAFF

Starting at 9:00 p.m., noise levels must be kept to a minimum in all rooms and units. Please also respect the nighttime quiet hours in the hallways, stairwells, and common areas, avoiding any behaviour that may disturb other guests at the resort, including loud music and loud conversations. Parties are prohibited unless the entire resort has been rented out. In the event of a violation of the preceding provision, if the guest is asked to end the party or gathering and refuses to do so, management is authorised to terminate the stay immediately without any possibility of a refund. If we are unable to contact the guest, a fine of MXN $1,500.00 s will be imposed, which must be paid in cash before the day of departure. Otherwise, a payment request will be submitted through the app.

X. DAMAGE, DIRTY ROOMS, LOST KEYS

In the event of damage to the property or its furnishings, or if keys are lost, the person responsible must pay for the damage caused. (Cost per lost key: $20). Payments of this type must be made immediately in cash, by credit card, or via a payment link (the person who made the reservation is responsible for these payments). Theft or intentional damage will be reported immediately to the police, and management is authorised to terminate the stay at that time without any possibility of a refund. It is prohibited to engage in any act that causes damage or harm to the property or to other guests, or to exhibit conduct contrary to decorum or social norms.

XI. MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS

The management does not authorise access to the rooms to any person who has not been previously and expressly authorised by the reservation holder and whose information has not been previously shared with the management. Persons acting on behalf of the company or providing services related to the lodging shall have unrestricted access to the rooms occupied by guests. In the event that guests are absent for more than twenty-four hours without prior notice to management, the stay may be terminated or suspended, as appropriate, and their luggage may be collected.
