"The pictures looked great, the rooms did not match the pictures. One room was pretty musty and dark. The room we stayed in had no hot water in the shower and it took 3 days to fix. They offered to change the room but that room had steep stairs to get to single bedroom down stairs and we had paid for a two bedroom. They should have made sure the shower worked before we arrived. "The host was fantastic. Great communication and very accommodating when my flight was delayed 4 hours. The apartment is great, too. It's a very cute pretty "no frills" place. It has everything you need for a place to sleep & shower; the real star of this show (aside from the gorgeous mural in the apartment) is its location. "It is a hotel located in downtown Oaxaca. The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was kind and helpful. I like the idea of having a kitchenette with the free fruit, coffee/tea, and pastries. They also provide you with free bottles of water. Everything was sparkling clean."

"It is a beautiful property and the staff is amazing and kind. The location is great as well. Just be prepared to not bring any outside food or drinks in the common area. You have to take that straight to your room. The person who runs the place chimed into our conversation about why we can’t have outside food or drinks. I thought that was a little rude. So make sure any street food gets eaten before you go to your hotel. Besides that the staff is what makes the hotel stay great. I probably won’t stay there again and find another hotel where I have a little bit more flexibility."

"Everything was fantastic, the property is in an excellent location for exploring Oaxaca City without a car. Even though our room was great, I should point out that the King Bed was too short for someone over 6' 2" tall. I would also like to see a microwave oven and cream for the espresso coffee. Despite these caveats, the room was excellent and the bed comfortable. My wife loves the shower and the water pressure was outstanding...... Tacos Roy is only a few steps away from the front door. Panaderia La Luna has good pan dulces and pastries for a low price. Ixu Cat Cafe is 3 blocks East if you love kitties..... Service is outstanding and they really go an extra mile to make your stay comfortable!"
