Guest Rules

I. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF THE RULES
These guest rules will be in effect from May 2025 through May 2026, during which time the guest expressly and tacitly acknowledges, upon making the reservation, that they accept and are fully aware of these rules, and that they agree to and comply with all the provisions set forth herein, and it is their obligation to read them and act in accordance with them.

II. PAYMENT FOR ACCOMMODATIONS
A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of at least 20% of the total amount for accommodation, including taxes. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the stay; if payment of the balance is not received, the reservation is immediately cancelled, releasing AALOJAT from any liability to the guest, The minimum 20% required as a deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE after the dates specified in the policies.

III. CHECK-IN
Check-in time for the room is from 3:00 p.m. onward, and check-out time must be no later than 11:00 a.m. Management reserves the right to grant an early check-in if the property becomes available earlier, as well as to grant a late check-out if availability exists for the desired date; however, there is no obligation to grant these benefits even if the guest requests them.

IV. CARE OF THE PROPERTY
We recommend that you review the room inventory upon arrival, since, at checkout, it will be inspected, and in the event of any missing items or damage, the guest will be responsible for covering the costs, which will be charged in Mexican pesos to replace the item or repair the damage.

V. USE OF UTILITIES
The utilities (water, electricity, gas, etc.) provided by the owners must be used in good faith; wasteful or excessive use of these services is not included in the price, helping us keep rates affordable and protect the environment; upon leaving the room, every guest is required to close the windows, front doors, and water valves, and to turn off lights and air conditioners.

VI. PROPERTY CLEANING
The company’s properties offer different included services, as well as amenities, locations, and designs. Not all properties include cleaning services; however, you can confirm whether or not this applies to your stay in the manual sent to you for check-in. In that document, you can see whether you are entitled to daily cleaning or if you must pay a fee. If cleaning is included, you must request it in advance, and it will be performed between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. at the latest. Guests may opt for daily cleaning or accept the hosts’ suggestion. We recommend making the request well in advance, as it is subject to availability. Guests who do not make their rooms available during those hours will not receive cleaning services. Linens, such as towels and bed sheets, will be replaced after a 7-day stay, at which time the room will also be cleaned. If you require them before this date, there will be an additional charge. Stains on sheets that can be easily removed will incur an additional charge of MXN $50.00 per item. (Face towels are excluded.) Linen that cannot be stain-removed (due to hair dye, paint, rust, sauce, permanent markers, etc.) will be charged at the cost of a new item in Mexican pesos; we will inform you of the exact amount if this occurs. VII. SECURITY MEASURES WITHIN THE ROOM
Any item or cash valued at more than $ $250.00 must be reported to management before the start of the stay so that its existence can be verified and a record made that it will be in the room. Guests must store their valuables in the safety deposit boxes located on the properties. Management is not responsible for any loss or misplacement of items or cash left in guest rooms or in the public areas of the properties that have not been registered.

VIII. LOST AND FOUND
Items or valuables left behind by a guest at any of our properties’ facilities will be held by management for up to fifteen days; after this period, they will be disposed of as lost property. If the guest wishes to retrieve them, shipping costs will be the guest’s responsibility, and the guest agrees to pay an additional 25% to cover the time spent by our employees on this extra task.

IX. QUIET AND RESPECT FOR OTHER GUESTS AND HOTEL STAFF
Starting at 9:00 p.m., noise levels must be kept to a minimum in all rooms and units. Please also respect quiet hours in the hallways, stairwells, and common areas, avoiding any behaviour that may disturb other guests at the resort, including loud music and loud conversations. Parties are prohibited unless the entire resort is rented out. In the event of a violation of the preceding rule, if the guest has been asked to end the party or gathering and refuses to do so, management is authorised to terminate the stay immediately without any possibility of a refund. If we are unable to contact the guest, a fine of MXN $1,500.00 will be imposed, which must be paid in cash before the day of departure. Otherwise, a payment request will be submitted through the app.

X. DAMAGE, DIRTY PROPERTY, LOST KEYS
In the event of damage to the property or its furnishings, or if keys are lost, the person responsible must pay for the damage caused. (Cost per lost key: $20). Payments of this type must be made immediately in cash, by credit card, or via a payment link (the person who made the reservation is responsible for these payments). Theft or intentional damage will be reported immediately to the police, and management is authorised to terminate the stay at that time with no possibility of a refund. It is prohibited to engage in any act that causes damage or harm to the property or to other guests, or to engage in conduct contrary to decorum or social behaviour.

XI. MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS
The management does not authorise access to the rooms to any person who has not been previously and expressly authorised by the reservation holder and whose information has not been previously shared with the management. Persons acting on behalf of the company or providing services related to the lodging shall have free access to the rooms occupied by guests. In the event that guests are absent for more than twenty-four hours without prior notice to the management, the accommodation may be terminated or suspended, as applicable, and their luggage may be collected.

XII. ACCIDENTS OR INCIDENTS WITHIN THE HOTEL
The hotel is not liable for any type of accident and/or incident that a guest may suffer within the hotel premises, such as falls, blows, animal bites, among others. Any expenses resulting from such an accident or incident shall be borne by the guest, thereby exempting the hotel management from any legal liability.

XIII. PARKING
Parking services are not available at all AALOJA T properties; they are only available at some of them. Therefore, it is the guest’s responsibility to find a safe place to park their vehicle. Management may recommend a nearby car park; however, this is not its obligation, and it is the guest’s responsibility to request this information. The cost of parking is the guest’s responsibility. The management cannot be held liable for any damage that may occur to the vehicle.

XIV. PROHIBITIONS
The use of toxic drugs, narcotics, or psychotropic substances is prohibited within any area of the property; any violation of this rule will be immediately reported to the appropriate authorities. Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the property; this violation will result in a fine of $2,500.00 MXN, which must be paid in cash before the guest’s checkout.
