George Street Apartment

120 George Street boasts stunning Jacobethan style frontage, built in 1901. Located in Oban's town centre, this is the ideal stop to start your adventure in the West Coast of Scotland.

Located on the second floor, George Street apartment sleeps four and has one double bedroom and one twin. Both bedrooms have ample space for all your belongings. The bathroom has been recently refurbished and has a large walk in shower. Toiletries and towels are provided. The kitchen is spacious and is fully equipped for all your self catering needs. The lounge area has two comfortable sofas and a dining area, perfect should you choose to stay in.

Please note, the apartment is located on the 2nd floor, accessed by stairs only, there is no lift in the building.

The apartment is located in Oban town centre where you can find a multitude of shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Local transport links are close by allowing for easy transport in and around Oban. Oban itself has many tourist attractions including the Oban distillery visitor centre, numerous boat tour/trips to and around the surrounding areas and is rich in local history and wildlife.

Central location

Location in the heart of Oban so good if you don’t have a car. Bedrooms and bathroom recently decorated and beds comfortable but both bedrooms could do with some more furniture (dressing table/chair/hooks?). Not as well equipped as expected and some of the kitchen equipment needs replacing (saucepans and utensils). Bedrooms clean but the kitchen drawers/cupboards need a good clean (we had to wash the contents before we used anything). It had the feel of student accommodation rather than the luxury apartment it appeared from the photos so was a bit disappointing. Lounge is small and has no room for the dining table which was folded and a pain to open up so we didn’t bother using it after the first time. Only booked for two nights so worked ok for us as base to explore Mull (Tobermory definitely worth a visit) but wouldn’t rush back to this apartment. Shame as the photos made it look luxurious.
