I use this property quite a bit while away with work. I choose to come back here as the rooms are clean and tidy, the service is excellent and the quality of food at breakfast and dinner is superb. There is a cosy bar with a great selection of drinks and a roaring fire in the winter. There is a bit of construction work going on at the minute however the inconvenience has been kept to a minimum. At my last visit I managed to leave a receipt that I needed in my room. I contacted the hotel and they emailed me a duplicate without any trouble so thanks to the Team for helping me out on that front!

Room smelt a bit of mildew/ damp. Had to find room and key was damaged so had to go back to reception. Readily given some ice in a tea towel to smooth an injured knee. Bed quite basic. Road noise in room but facing sea / river beyond. Breakfast served by teenagers and not offered toast or milk for coffee.

Relaxing
As always a great relaxing friendly stay Lee and Caitlin were on top of their game running the bar and food service plus all the other staff. Hope to be back in the near future. Kind regards Paul Sam Rex

All staff with whom I engaged were very polite and chatty with a great friendly manner. My one and only comply was that there was no phone and internet service in the room I had been allocated. I was only there for one evening so it wasn’t really so bad. Breakfast was excellent!!

Food was ok but the room’s wall were so thin I could hear someone going to the toilet. Shower room was too narrow, I had to squeeze between the wash hand basin to get to the toilet. No where to put my case on except the bed. All in all not good value for money. Won’t stay again or recommend it.

Great stay at the Oyster Inn. Our food was great and the staff were very helpful and kind! Highly recommend the waffles at breakfast! Best I’ve ever had!

Oysters are amazing
The accommodations were solid (not fancy/plush). That said, the restaurant and the oysters were incredible. And the hotel was just far enough from Edinburgh while on our way to Skye that we made the distance needed not a mile further on day one of driving on the left side of the road.

I had a great stay here and really enjoyed the atmosphere. My room was very comfortable and clean. The restaurant has a really great view of the water and the bar has a nice aesthetic and is popular with locals, so that’s a good sign. The staff were friendly and helpful and I would like to stay here again during future trips.

Service great! Julie and the girls accommodated all of our requests. Saw an otter that lives in the bay out front. Rare!! All newly renovated rooms etc. Just a very short scenic drive to Oban. Would stay again.

Reception could have been more welcoming - no greeting on arrival. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was very good with excellent service. Lovely views from the restaurant but outside needs attention - tables outside were in very poor condition with rotting wood surfaces and the signage was missing letters.

Two Night Stay
Nice hotel with friendly staff. Stayed for two nights as part of a nine day tour. Restaurant food in the evening gorgeous, breakfast standard. Lovely bar area. Room spacious, comfortable, we had excellent loch views.

Place was okay. Definitely needs an upgrade both inside and out. However dinner was great along with the dining service. Reception staff mentioned breakfast wasnt included but when we went later to reconfirm another staff member said it was included.

Great Stay
Lovely hotel, modern clean and tidy. Staff are brilliant, drinks are more than reasonably priced. Good parking facilities round the back of the hotel. Overall, a fantastic place to stay and will definitely be back.
