The room and overall hotel is definitely dated, but they had the most amazing front desk staff. Location is excellent and everything is in walking distance. I loved sitting on the rocking chairs and people watching. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in one of the majestic apartments. I liked how it was an apartment, but it wasn't like dealing with a rental company. It was dealing with a hotel company. It was very simple and easy to get set up. We were lucky enough to get one of the apartments that was detached a block away. So it was a lot more quiet. The property is definitely dated, if you're looking for some modern place this is not it. With that being said though it was very clean. Which I'm not going there to stay in a hotel I'm going there to spend time on the beach and boardwalk.

When we arrived and saw the 3 bedroom apartment we were given it did not match the pics advertised. It was disgusting and unsafe the ceiling was curved the floor boards were sinking. I went back to the front desk to see if we get have a refund or if they had something that was safe. They didn’t respond to the refund however did give us another apartment this one was nicer but still extremely poor quality for paying 2100 for 3 nights. Additionally, they had a recent break in- to another unit where blood was on the wall. Do not stay here- on the plus the front desk was pleasant along with their maintenance employee. We left a day early due to the facility.

Would stay there again! Right price for ocean city! Most hotels are over priced and I’m not paying and arm and a leg to stay in ocean city when I can pay that price to go to Aruba ! I’ll go to Aruba !!

Dirty Incorrect rooms on check in This place has a good location but I would rather stay further from beach than this dump No window cover to block light Holes in bathroom floor Drain is super slow so your standing in dirty water Carpet is disgusting And this place cost more that some good places. Inaccurate pictures online and a three star is a total joke. Maybe a one star. Fighting people on elevator makes you nervous to be here

Not too bad for the price.
For the low price I thought it wasn’t too bad. The room was very old, but it was very clean. The location is great and if you’re only using the room to sleep after you’ve been out at the beach all day who cares if it’s old. The small fridge and microwave was helpful. But would have liked some coffee/tea somewhere in the room or lobby. The only bad parts were the shower and the smell. The shower head was too small with low water pressure so I felt I couldn’t clean myself efficiently. And the hallway had a really bad mildew smell that was then attempted to be masked by a strong menthol/mint smell. Another unfortunate part was half of the rocking chairs out front were broken. The staff alerted me to check before I sit, as earlier in the day a woman injured herself pretty badly. Then that night I witnessed another woman fall when the chair broke out from under her. Another woman was passively aggressively complaining loudly that I “stole her chair” leaving her no place to sit because so many were unusable, (I had no way of knowing she had been using the chair) which put a damper on my ability to relax and enjoy the view. If she had asked nicely I would have moved but she decided to stand behind me and complain about me instead.

The staff were professional and curtious. The Hotel is old but well kept. The room was comfy and very clean. Our TV didnt work but when your on vacation and at the beach who wants to sit in your room and watch TV. We had a teriffic experience at the Majestic Hotel. We'll stay there again.

One of the two rooms I rented was terrible! It had a very dirty and rusty commode, sink dirty and rusty also. One staff member said it was probably an oversight that the room was not cleaned after the last guest checked out and also forgot to do the necessary repairs the room badly needed. In fact the guy sent to check the sink said the only remedy was to have it replaced. They also probably gave us that room because it was one of the only two rooms available and I needed two. The sheets in this room were stained with what looked like semen. The sheets were not washed because the sink and toilet were both also dirty. There were also some broken tiles on the bathroom floor. The other room was superb! It was very clean. I let my in-laws stay in the clean room. The female staff were very friendly and understanding unlike the one guy that checked us in. I was asked to pay an additional $549.00 to be transferred to an apartment or other room.

Definitely dont recommend staying here. We walked in our single bed room that looked like a run down old motel room that someone prob died in at some point since the 70s, no joke. Just bad vibes and we had our 10 month old whom Ivwould not even let crawl around that room. We left right away and stayed somewhere else. They were accommodating with refunding our money and Im pretty sure I read they're eventually knocking it down to rebuild better. So that says a lot.

We were upgraded to a suite. The sweet was on the 4th floor. We had to use a pulley system to bring our luggage up and down. The windows had slats and that was all. If I had small kids I would be concerned. Our price was very low to be on the boardwalk, you pay for what you get. Robert at the front desk was very helpful, polite and respectful.

Room was advertised as ocean view with a balcony. There isn't a balcony anywhere on this hotel, the room was not ocean facing, and the rooms are small, outdated, and dirty. For the price, there are way better options nearby

Just what I need
I go to OCMD for the beach and the ocean. I don't need to waste money on someplace fancy. I only need a place to shower, sleep, refrigerate food, microwave and Majestic met those needs. I parked my car and I didn't drive until I had to go home. I walked most of the time and if I need to go a longer distance, I took the bus. Walk across the boards to the beach or down the ramp the opposite direction and go to the pool. It's perfect if you aren't a picky person or you like to stay in your room all day.

Broken hot water heater
Hot water wasn't working took them 8 hours to tell us they cantbdo anything. Moved us rooms which we were ok with but it was alot smaller with no washer/dryer, no wifi or cable, no dishwasher which we paid to have and did in the first apartment. They refunded us $200 and said we could pay to wash our clothes in the main building across the street. Was very disappointing because we needed the hot water. I have a 2 month old, 6yr old, and a 8yr old so ice cold baths wouldn't work. I tried to not let it ruin our trip but it was very upsetting because $200 was nothing compared to what we lost because the hot water heater broke in our original apartment.

This hotel was charming, and very antique. However the floor was slanted, the carpet was stained, the sheets were stained, the blinds were broken, there were a couple little bugs during the one night stay. The staff was fantastic and super friendly, but there was no plastic on the paper cups that were dusty and stained. The locks are old fashioned and the power flickered at night about every 20 minutes or less.

Oh my God!!! Not sure if I laugh or cry!!!! I'm a frequent traveler. My wife and I really love to experience a new things. When we booked Majestyc, we knew what to expect. A simple hotel, white a nice view. We arrived early and asked for a early check in. Unfortunately, that's not available. Understandable! We headed to our room. No elevator. It's a 100 yo building. Understandable! Our room was (old) clean and not smelling. Good sign. When preparing a dinner for a 8 guest (it was our party) we noticed that there's only 6 sets. I went to the front desk (no phone in the room) to ask for more plates and silverware. I was advised that, the hotel doesn't provide it. I went to a restaurant close to the hotel and asked if they could provide me a few disposable dishes and forks. After 30 min, a nice gentleman came with small plastic dishes to provide us ( that's nice of them). The following 4 days went smooth (since we didn't ask anything from the hotel). At that point, I would've given a 4 star review ( we knew what to expect). A day before to check out, I went to the front desk and asked for a late check out . They told me that, due the high demand, that's impossible ( 4th July). Understandable! But, they told me that we're allowed to enjoy the premises all day long. We checked out at 11:03 am (sorry for the 3 min late). Nice people on the front desk. My party went to the swimming pool to... (Unfortunately can't write more here. Check Google for full review)
