Great cabin and location!
Cabin (guesthouse) is very nice, clean, and well appointed. Host responded promptly to questions and was very nice. Loved the fresh eggs and the book detailing the history and building of the cabin. The location is just far enough from everything to be rural (i.e. quiet!) but only 10- 20 minutes from everything (Villages, Opry, Silver springs, etc). Plenty to do in the local area. We loved the screened in porch, perfect for morning coffee.

Get away bliss

DELIGHTFUL!
This was our fourth stay at this cabin. SO peaceful and charming. Easy access to The Villages and Ocala. We had Orange Blossom Opry tickets for their Christmas show and this cabin is only a short way up the road. Hosts are very accomodating and respond to communications quickly. Peaceful. Quiet. Charming. Delightful.

Wonderful and relaxing!
We wanted to stay a quiet place that wasn’t too far from all the fun. This was perfect. We drove to Disney and Universal from the cabin and it wasn’t bad at all. The host has paid great attention to detail, and her guest book is amazing! I would highly recommend anyone staying here for relaxing, shopping and some fun!

Wonderfully Serene
This was a great place. From the really neat cabin feel to the communication with the hosts & the convenience to the wedding we were attending. The cabin has a neat booklet all about the building of it and another picture book my kids enjoyed about Uncle Tom's hunting adventure abroad. Craftsmanship and care is shown throughout. Growing up with my dad who is a retired mason, I love and appreciate seeing quality homes that aren't cookie-cutter. The grounds were kept up and felt like we were in the middle of a storybook or one of those audio books that tell you to close your eyes & imagine somewhere to relax. Simple yet just what we were looking for.

Bridesmaid cottage
The cottage is stunning and location is close to Doe Lake Campground where we held our wedding. It was a perfect quiet place for my bridesmaids and I to get ready for the wedding at. It was amazing to have a quiet place to calm my nerves on my big day and I would recommend this cabin 1000%. The best experience I have ever had at a VRBO.

Wonderful Custom Cabin
We enjoyed our 2 night stay here immensely. We will be back! A lovely cabin that you can tell was built by someone with talent. So clean and everything you need! I felt like we were in the middle of the woods with our own slice of heaven. Owners were great.

Springs Trip

Two week Ocklawaha cabin vacation
We were completely pleased with our stay. The owners were very reachable yet left us to enjoy their cabin and our vacation. We loved the proximity to the Villages, shopping etc. and we traveled many places throughout Florida for activities. We hope to return. Highly recommended.

Best rental in Florida bliss
There is not enough space to detail every loving detail of this log home stay. Not to paraphrase “Words can not express” but truly that will be your impression as well. Warm welcome from the host, first class amenities throughout the home leave you wanting for nothing. Peaceful and quiet galore! (Minus a random sandhill crane screech lol) You will be thoroughly satisfied with your choice in this property and We can’t wait to enjoy it again ourselves!

Our Florida Get Away from the Cold
We had an excellent time. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. The cabin is really a work of art. Everything was high end. It is nice and private but it is also close to restaurants, hiking and shopping. We will be back:)

Family Christmas Vacation
My family and I spent the past 4 days/3 nights enjoying the cabin, and it was one of the best/most relaxing vacations ever! The cabin was beautiful and decorated beautifully! The hosts stocked the cabin really well and it was easy to find everything we needed. The books on the building of the cabin and the hunt were must sees and interesting to see the history of the cabin and animals on the walls! The city is conveniently located centrally between a few citys with nice activities. We went to silver springs, easy street, visited the dam, and hiked in the forest. If you are looking for a relaxing place to spend time with your family this cabin is perfect! Thank you to the hosts!

Simply amazing
I have over the years stayed at many vrbo rentals. Some very grand and large with amazing views wine cellars in door pools, sauna, gyms, you name it. I would have to say this awesome cabin built by this family is one of my top 4 or 5 I have ever had the pleasure to visit. The peace and quite was just the thing I need for a few days, the host are great very easy to deal with. I could go on and on. Truly hope I have the opportunity to visit again. Paradise in Oklawaha
The pictures doesn’t show the charm and coziness of this cabin. The owners are welcoming , had farm fresh eggs for us and answered our questions about the surrounding area. The cabin is stocked really well and everything was clean . We will definitely be back again to this slice of paradise .

My Wife and our closest friends got away to this spectacular cabin. Super clean, private setting in the woods and far exceeds property description. Wonderful owner, very responsive and a great week of total chill for all of us. Enjoyed Jeeping in the Ocala Nat’l Forest and discovered great eateries within minutes of this amazing cabin. This property was excellent! The interior of the log home was in pristine condition and very clean. This property was fully stocked with everything you could want or need. Pots, pans, coffee pot, toaster, utensils, grill, extra garbage bags etc. I could not have asked for anything more. The owner was very nice and welcoming and always responded right away when I messaged her. The best part of it all was the amazing property. It was simply stunning! We were looking for a property that is secluded, quiet and was an example of old Florida. This property is it. So peaceful and perfect. You can not go wrong staying here. I would defiantly stay here again and would highly recommend it to others. Thank you to the owner for sharing such an amazing place!

Amazing Location
We were in town for a fishing tournament at Lake Weir. The fishing wasn't that great, but the cabin was amazing. Bob and Kathy were extremely easy to work with and check-in was a breeze. We have traveled most of the state for fishing tournaments and this has been our favorite location. There was plenty of parking for our trucks and boat, and the cabins screened in porch was great for winding down after a day on the water. Would highly recommend if in the area.

We had a wonderful mom's getaway at this cabin. It is very spacious, with a screened porch perfect for morning coffee. It is also very close to Carney Island Park, which had a nice walking trails and picnic areas by the lake.
