Cozy and peaceful country home on 1 acre property on the edge of the Vermillion River. Home is located 3 miles south of Starved Rock, Matthiessen, and Buffalo Rock state parks. Explore the beautiful canyons and hiking trails or rent a boat or kayak for a day of fun on the Illinois River. Pet friendly with a fenced in yard, dog bed, and treats for your furry friend. House has a lower and upper deck perfect for viewing sunsets, wildlife, and stargazing. We are right next door to the Vermillion River Rafting Company. Bring your own kayak or canoe to explore the Vermillion River or rent a raft from the rafting company for an afternoon of fun and sun. You can walk to the banks for the river right from the house. Explore beautiful downtown Utica and browse the shops, enjoy al fresco dining, have a drink at the local ale house, or visit the local museum. Lot has a fire pit and a gas grill for your use. Washer, dryer, microwave, stove, refrigerator, kitchen dishes and utensils, linens, towels, and paper products are all included.
