"A bit of difficulty when it came to conversing in Japanese as we are foreigners but overall was a great stay with good service. The onsen experience was nice. Note that they have a curfew from 10pm to 5am as they do not have electronic key cards implemented for coming in and going out."

"温泉の湯質は妻にあって、すごくよかったです。翌日ぷりぷりつるつるでした。長岡の花火を見に行くのにちょっと距離はありますが全然問題ないかとおもいます。お料理は美味しかったです。母が80代で普段あんまりご飯食べれないのですが、口にあったらしく美味しい美味しいと言って食べてくれました。クラフトビールよかったですし、原酒もよかったです。 ベットのクッションが80歳の母にすごくあっていて、朝まで眠れたって喜んでいたので、検索してうちでも買うことにしました。"

"We had a room with half board and enjoyed the 24 hr Natural hot spring within the hotel. Free shuttle to the bus station after check out was helpful as it snowed the night before "

"Great ryokan with lovely onsen. Water was very hot but relaxing. Half board banquet style meals were a lot of fun along with wearying the traditional Japanese clothing. Lots of selection and different kinds which was nice. Room was huge and the outdoor tub was lovely. Recommended for sure. "
