Independent hotels in Olare Orok Conservancy, Maasai Mara

Fantastic people, really caring... given the small size of the camp, the personal attention was great (but not bothersome). I'd go back there any time... 10 minutes from Talek gate... don't let Google Maps tell you otherwise... The food was good (we're vegetarian) and they packed good lunches for our time out in the reserve... Enjoy the place!

I had some trouble with my park entrance fee, but Kerore, the manager, smoothed everything over and ensured that my stay was wonderful! Danson made daily cocktail specials and Daniel, the chef, was accommodating of special dietary needs and was eager to present us with delicious food that would fuel us for our game drives. Jonathan was our driver, and he was knowledgeable, safe, curious and kind. It was a fantastic experience for my group of friends while we re-connected.

We had a lovely stay at Mara Intrepids. The location is beautiful, food excellent and the staff incredibly friendly and chatty. I would recommend specifically requesting a river view as some views are better than others, and giving your bed preference (either a double or two singles) to avoid disappointment.

Spectacular stay at Julia's River Camp. Excellent location to immediately be immersed in complete Safari experience, friendly and professional team, the most excellent guide! Kios found 2 cheetahs about to hunt and positioned us with masterful ability to witness it. On a second cheetah hunt we were so lucky to observe he expertly maneuvered our vehicle to be the first forward to photograph unimpeded! Truly one of the most amazing experiences. everything perfekt

Everything about this camp was exceptional from the professional well trained staff to the most perfect location. Even though it rained throughout most of our staff that didn't take away from the lovely views of the hippos talking while lounging in the river just outside our tent or our amazing game drives. The entire staff couldn't have been nicer and most helpful, only our stay was too short. Will certainly be returning very soon! Asante Sana
