"This is a good hotel if you have an embassy appointment. It is only a 5 minute walk to the us embassy. The breakfast was ok typical Filipino food available. "

"We stayed here for 5 nights and cannot fault this hotel. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was fresh every morning with a good variety of dishes including a chef ready to cook your eggs, your way. Located in Chinatown, when walking outside there was obvious poverty but at no time did we feel unsafe. A short walk away was the Lucky Chinatown Mall, where we had many options for restaurants. Street food is also available."

"I'm very happy with my stay at city garden suites. The staff were very helpful, friendly and accomodating. The breakfast were fresh with variety of choices. Aircon and rooms were excellent. This is my second time vacation and stay in this hotel and would love to come back or recommend to friends and relatives. Thank you city garden suites and staff"

"The pool was terrible! Getting to the pool, going about the pool, the pool itself was terrible! Not clean either and only for small children. The pool should be easily accessible for hotel guests without the hoopla that we had to go through. The area around the hotel should be cleaner as well.none of our drivers knew how to get to our hotel. Going anywhere you have to go through a bad area to get to the good area. "

"It was the pool which was disappointing. It was also a health club so sometimes you use the pool until noon as it was full of very loud children The staff by the pool were not that attentive. The champagne bar restaurant was excellent. Breakfast very mediocre."

"We had a pleasant stay at this property. The hotel rooms are your basic ones and the hotel felt a bit dated, but we don’t mind that. The staff were pleasant and there was a cafe in the lobby but we didn’t get to try it. The location was great for exploring Intramuros and Binondo, so it did the job for what we needed. Would stay here again. "
