"My husband and I loved our two night hill country getaway. The Country Cabin had both country and luxury- with a big comfy bed and extra large bathtub. The only unfortunate thing was that the jets didn't turn on. The cabin is beautifully decorated with old- timey touches. We loved sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs and enjoying the sounds of nature. The kitchen and food that was left for us to cook was also very convenient."

"We very much enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious and perfect for our needs. The hot tub and pool are fantastic. The property is quiet and secluded. There were a few issues that proved to be a nuisances and could use improvement:1. There is no hot water running to any of the showers in the main house. (Guest house was fine and strangely so were sink faucets in the main house)2. The gas stovetop burners did not work. The gas was disconnected and the valve key was missing. We planned on cooking several nights so this was a serious curveball for us. Thankfully there were a few standalone electric cooktops we could plug in. Which means they know the range doesn’t work so it should probably be listed so people aren’t misled. The plugins work in a pinch but are a poor substitute. 3. The air conditioner in the guest house / gaming room has trouble keeping up in the heat of the day. It couldn’t stay below 80."

"This is a cool and different experience than usual. Outdoor shower is pretty nice. It's a bit of a way down some windy backcountry roads, but I enjoy getting to see off the beaten path. A nice, peaceful stay outside of the city of Fredericksburg. We had an issue with the hot tub working, and host was super responsive in trying to get it fixed. Would recommend for someone looking for a different, interesting type of place to stay."

"Very responsive and accommodating. The property is a little worn around the edges but is still great. Hot tub was clean and hot, tent has AC/heat that both worked well. It was quiet, relaxing, and only 30 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg. Wonderful property and I’m looking forward to staying again."
