"Kitchen was well stocked although there were a few dead bugs, so I washed anything we used. The rest of the house was tastefully decorated in a "country" style. The yard was nice and green, we saw deer, and the pets were happy. There were plenty of linens and extra household items. The only shortcoming was the internet, even while using the wi-fi. I guess it could be considered a plus if you don’t want to be disturbed by phone calls and text messages. It was very close to our venue and the restaurant down the road was very good. Overall, I would stay again. "

"We stayed at the Farmhouse over the July 4th weekend 2025 to celebrate my husband's birthday. Unfortunately, it was the weekend of the flood in the hill country so a lot of the local things we had planned to do we could not do because of the heavy rains. We could not have been at a better place to be rained in!! The covered patio area was perfect even with the rain and the house could not have been more perfect. The kids loved that the Llama and donkeys came right up to the door and had all kinds of fun feeding and loving on them. My entire family loved this place and everything about it. We hope to go back!"

"The Ranch House is gorgeous! Exceptionally clean and owners are thoughtful of everything down to the pastries for breakfast, quality toiletries, and Christmas decor. You’re out in the country but only about 15 minutes from Fredericksburg. Well worth the drive! We will definitely be back!"
