Fabulous location with stunning views from room, friendly welcoming hosts. Plenty of parking. Clean and comfortable facilities and property full of character. Would definitely return without hesitation.

Stayed New Year’s Eve and even on New Years Day they were serving breakfast. Inclusive light breakfast of cereal and toast and tea/coffee and you could upgrade to full breakfast. Lovely clean rooms and friendly staff. Would stay again.

Fantastic Place
Fantastic stay, 2 nights, check in was easy, breakfast fantastic (cheap and proper ingredients) Attention to detail from Jasmine who checked me in and boxed the breakfast off. Hotel has super views and there’s a random Peacock knocking about. Would definitely stay again

Our first visit to this hotel and I must say for our budget (under £90 per night) it's one of the best hotels we have stayed in as a family. Would loved to have tried an evening meal but there was a wedding function going on the night we stayed but that didn't fault our stay. Bonus is the included light breakfast (tea, coffee, orange juice, toast, cereals etc) which was perfect for us although we could of upgraded to a full English for a small charge but as I've said we were more than happy with the lighter breakfast. Hope to visit again if we are traveling in the area.

Nice place amazing views would definitely return
Very nice room, hotel is being done up so it’s difficult to say what it’s going to look like. The restaurant is a little bit tired and dated but the staff are really lovely and the food was good. My only criticism was that at breakfast. I wasn’t given a choice of what to have, and when I asked if I could order a cooked breakfast, the waitress went away and came back with a full English without giving me a choice of poached/fried eggs, whether I wanted hash browns and sausages, etc. also the evening menu, although the food was very good, I would have preferred a couple of slightly healthier options if possible.

The room was nice and the staff where friendly, the only problem was at night some other guest where noisy, a car pulling up with its music blasting out, people going up and down the hall very early in the morning letting the doors bang close and I pretty sure that someone bang into my door waking me up. did not get much sleep that night

It was so refreshing and relaxing, we stayed the night as we was viewing for our wedding venue and had a very pleasant stay. Renovation being completed on our stay but it wasn't anything disturbing, can not wait to visit again and see the new upgrad

Unexpected stay but a gem of a find
Unexpected overnight stay, but what a gem of a find. Felt welcomed by staff who were all very friendly and helpful. Hotel going alterations which didn’t effect our stay our room was very cozy bed was so comfy, slept like a baby. Breakfast next morning was lovely and plenty of it.

The hotel was comfortable and clean but other than one helpful member of staff, the others we came across were inattentive. It took several attempts to get the attention of bar staff and after helping ourselves to breakfast cereal, the juice was empty and no one came to take a breakfast order so we left and had breakfast elsewhere.
