Lovely hotel on the outskirts of Ollantayambo. We stayed in a ‘bungalow’ which was on 2 floors. Kingsize bed with bathroom and seating area upstairs and double bedroom, bathroom and living area downstairs and very nicely furnished with good views over the countryside. There was a small kitchen area with a microwave but bizarrely no crockery or cutlery. Kettle and teabags supplied but no coffee(!) Set in expansive gardens with alpacas wandering freely around. Comfortable room but beware the train line runs close to the property so be prepared for an early morning wake up call by the train whistle! If you don’t have your own transport be prepared to pay out on taxi fares to get into town. The hotel provided us with private vehicle transfers from Cusco airport to the hotel for a reasonable price which was very useful. Overall a very pleasant place to stay.

Beautiful place. We stayed in one of the family bungalows. It was perfect for our family of 4. Nice and clean. The staff were above and beyond friendly and helpful. The only down side was the distance from town. Had to take a 20 minute shuttle or taxi to get around. The resident alpacas were a nice touch.

Beautiful, peaceful, nice place to stay. Friendly staff. We really enjoyed it. We visited Machu Pichu And areas around the Sacred Valley. Highly recommend this place if you have transportation or can arrange it. The hotel might be able to help with that. We rented a car.

This was a beautiful place to stay. We loved our bungalow and the setting. The only negative is that it is so remote and hard to get anywhere. It would be so helpful if there was some shuttle service available into town.

Everything was lovely and the staff were great. I had a free day and asked what I could do nearby. I ended up having a lovely morning with Audry (member of staff) who cycled with me (hotel bicycle) to a nearby archaeological site where we had a walk around. Extra thanks to Audry for talking in English and making my stay special.

Está un poco retirado del centro. Hay transporte público al centro o taxi. La gran ventaja es q es muy amplio apacible y bonito. Nos alojamos lo por estar en el camino de partida a Santa Teresa

Como o hotel é afastado da cidade, fica numa região montanhosa belíssima, bem ao pé da montanha. Tem alpacas pelo gramado. O chalé é epaçoso, super limpo. Jantamos todos os dias no próprio hotel e a comida estava bem gostosa. Pontos negativos: o chuveiro do banheiro de baixo estava bem ruim. E o café da manhã é muito básico, bem frugal. Essa parte decepcionou.

Refúgio tranquilo com belas vistas das montanhas

O hotel é um pouco afastado, mas isso acaba sendo um ponto positivo para quem busca silêncio e tranquilidade. A estrutura é muito bonita, com uma vista incrível das montanhas, e todo o ambiente é limpo e bem cuidado. Os quartos têm um estilo rústico e aconchegante, alguns até com lareira, embora não tenha ficado claro como utilizá-la. O café da manhã é servido à la carte, com poucas opções, mas suficiente para começar o dia. O restaurante oferece comida saborosa, e há ainda uma sala de jogos bem equipada para lazer. O ambiente silencioso convida ao descanso e torna a estadia ideal para quem deseja se desconectar e aproveitar alguns dias em meio à natureza. Recomendo para quem procura tranquilidade e belas paisagens!

El hotel en general es muy bonito, pero es un abuso para el turista que se promocionen como en ollantaytambo cuando está a 30 minutos del pueblo, y el llevarte o recogerte te lo cobran e 80 soles por ida, incluso más caro que el costo de los taxis locales que son caza turistas. Pedí el cuarto más caro y no había agua en mi baño y me tuvieron esperando sin darme una respuesta alguna, lo cual fue muy molesto. Además, (insisto tenía el cuarto más caro) no habia ni una botella de agua en el cuarto, si querías tenias que comprar. La comida no es mala pero o es nada acercado a buena. De ahí en más el hotel en general si es bueno.

Maybe stay a day, no more.

Del Pillar is a beautiful hotel. The staff is friendly, the amenities (game room, indoor/outdoor seating) are nice and the food was very good. The only complaint is how far from town the property was. The rooms were nice and the grounds were lovely, but it felt so far away that you didn’t want to stay there for very long.
