We had a lovely stay at the Parwa Guest House. Our room had a wonderful view overlooking the ruins in Ollyantaytambo. It was also very convenient for walking to the train station for our early morning trip to Machu Picchu. The owner recommended a restaurant in the square which ended up being one of the best meals of our trip. Highly recommended!

The owner and family at the guesthouse are very nice people, and the actual room we stayed in was in good condition and clean when we arrived. However my biggest criticism is that wifi was fully unusable in the room, and that every night hundreds of small flies would enter the room. This would be fine by itself, but room service is only everyother day, so it meant coming back to a room covered in dead flies. Despite this i still think this is one of the better options in Ollantaytambo.

The best place ever

This may be my favorite place to stay ever. Charming building with a beautiful courtyard. It was comfortable and quiet with a lovely breakfast. And Jorge and his staff are just wonderful. We didn't want to leave.

Parwa Guest House was wonderful.

Parwa Guest House in Ollantaytambo was a very nice place to stay. they held our luggage for three days as we went to Machu Picchu. They recommended an excellent restaurant in Ollantaytambo town square where we ate after dropping off our luggage. We ate there again when we returned. Parwa Guest House serves a delicious breakfast starting with a very nice fruit bowl. It had a bed and breakfast feel to it. Jorge and his wife are so friendly, and they helped us with other questions we had before our trip started. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing staying with kids and family

Amazing stay and amazing host and staff! Place is nicely decorated, great location, very friendly and helpful host that gave us a lot of tips and suggestions to plan the entire trip. Rooms where very nice and extremely comfortable. Close to the river. Fresh fruit, eggs, local bread and local jams for breakfast!

Beautiful quiet setting with lovely views and garden sitting area. Highly recommend as a nice place to adjust to the altitude or just use as a base to explore the Sacred Valley. Jorge is an attentive host with good advice and makes sure you're taken care of.

Parwa Guest House was very cozy. Staff was very nice. Location was perfect for people who want to experience a rural area. Most people don't stay in Ollantaytambo but I was so glad that I decided to stay there for a day.

We had a delightful and peaceful stay! Jorge was a wonderful communicator and every need and query was addressed either by him or his nephew Mauricio. It is PERFECTLY situated between the archaeological ruins and the graineries - both within 5 minutes walking distance.. PARWA guest house is quiet and safe and they helped us with our luggage up the many stairs. PS, breakfast was amazing!

Enjoyed our one night stay. The breakfast was substantial and nutritious. Jorge was patient, kind and friendly. He allowed us to store our suitcases for a couple of days while we did a hiking tour.

Jorge was a wonderful host! He set us up with a driver that got us to Parwa safely and after a very long two days of traveling. The breakfast was wonderful with local breads, jams, fresh squeezed juices and fresh eggs. The view was spectacular and the bed was super cozy and comfortable. Jorge helped us by storing our luggage for us as we made our way up to Machu Picchu and set us up a driver to get us to our next leg of our trip in Cusco. Would highly recommend, a wonderful stay for me and my husband and son.

This is the second time I’ve stayed with my family at Parwa House for a total of 6 nights. The owner and staff are very friendly and go out of their way to give you an outstanding experience. The breakfast every morning includes eggs, assorted fruit, breads with jam and coffee/tea. View of the ruins right out your room windows. Room 6 is magical, ask for it if you need 2 beds or a family of 4. We never ran out of hot water, look no further book your stay in the sacred valley at Parwa House.
