"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Bender was great in communicating before we arrived. They provided everything we needed to know. The staff were very nice and courteous and very responsive. The condo was clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable. The furniture in the dining and living room provided plenty of seating but the furniture is outdated and not very comfortable. The primary suite bath needs a new shower curtain rod. It held the shower curtain but was damaged from what appeared to be a long time. The toilet in the primary suite sits very low to the floor and could use a handicapped (comfort height) toilet. Older people or someone with joint issues could find it very difficult to get up from the toilet. The view of the ocean from the unit was beautiful and unobstructed. The balcony was nice and had plenty of seating. The HVAC worked great and kept the unit cool. It was very hot outside. The biggest complaint from the stay was the elevator. We arrived Friday evening and left Sunday morning. The elevator was out of service most of the day on Saturday. A technician arrived late Saturday evening and repaired the elevator. The elevator worked first thing Sunday morning but was out of service again by 8:30 a.m. We had to check out by 10 a.m. and it wasn't working when we left. We had to carry everything down the stairwell that wasn't well lit or ventilated. Heavy coolers and suitcases combined with hot temps. meant heavy sweating by the time we got everything to our vehicle. Things break but the sign in the elevator suggests that this might happen on a regular basis. We might consider staying here again but it would only be on the first or second floor unless a permanent solution is reached concerning the elevator. Overall, the stay was good but 5C could use some updating."
