This s place was perfect for our stay. While we didn't meet Michael, Ann was a pleasure. The apartment was the perfect mix of amenities and coziness. We would highly recommend you consider staying here if you're in the Galway area!!!

The hosts for this property obviously care for the comfort and convenience of their guests. That much is obvious when you set foot in the door. The apartment was meticulously clean, and cozy and comfortable without effort. From surprisingly large and cuddly throws to a bed you don’t want to leave, the space continues to delight from arrival to departure. Thank you for a truly lovely experience.

Normally I don’t really rate hotels I stay at on trips, but Oranhill Lodge is a top notch, special place. My husband and I wanted to explore Galway and Oranmore on our honeymoon, and we were fortunate enough to choose Oranhill Lodge to stay. The lodge is beautiful, spacious, and really feels like a home. Our room was so clean and cozy, and this Lodge is located so close to the bus stop that will take you into Galway or other nearby spots. But Ann and Michael make this place stand out entirely. This is my first international trip, so for me, finding comfort and feeling safe meant a lot. Ann and Michael treated us like family, not just guests. I won’t ever forget that kindness and consideration- the way they went above and beyond for us. Stay here on your trip!

FAVOURITE stop during our 4 week travels!
Ann and Micheal at Oranhill Lodge were amazing hosts with the most beautiful property! We loved our stay in the “apartment” (newly converted garage) with every amenity one would need, with fully equipped kitchen and living space. And Ann’s breakfast was fantastic! So many choices, and THE BEST fresh scones in Ireland! After 3+ weeks in Scotland and Ireland, this was our favourite accommodation and hospitality!

This B&B is simply perfect! Close to everything, parking on-site, the owners are helpful and offer tips and suggestions (dining, driving). The breakfast was amazing - best porridge ever (one of many choices). The room was quiet and comfy. Look no further!

We stayed in the brand new separate apartment. It was so clean and bright, and Ann and Michael had thought of everything. Loved the extra touches - bottled milk in fridge, beautiful hair and body wash, hand cream, lighting in bathroom. Fabulous breakfast. Would highly recommend this to anyone

This was an outstanding find! We stayed in the self contained apartment, which was modern, spacious, beautifully decorated & well equipped. Michael & Anne were excellent hosts, very helpful with info on places to see, where to eat etc. it was a 10 minute walk into the village where we had a choice of pubs & restaurants and there is a Lidl right across the road. Absolutely perfect, we wish we had stayed longer.

Wow! A gem in Oranmore
Ann & Mike, thank you for a wonderful 2 night stay at your lovely B&B. This B&B is right up there in my opinion as one of the nicest places we have stayed in, the personal touch is evident everywhere, its spotless, comfortable, great breakfast, but the greatest compliment we can give is to the hosts, a wonderful couple, the humour flows effortlessly, nothing is too much trouble, the welcome is second to none. No Mike (i am not after a discount when we return!) This b&b is passionate about how they treat their guests, would highly recommend staying there. 👌

This is an excellent place to stay. Ann and Michael are delightful. Michael is very funny as in ha ha funny not funny looking. It is a great base to explore go away and the entire West Coast.

Beautiful property. Hosts Anne and Michael were so friendly and welcoming. I booked this based on other previous comments, and this B&B was as good or better than I read. It's also in a smaller quieter area than Galway (which is touristy and trafficy). If you need a place to stay before driving the west coast to Cliffs of Moher, this is a fantastic choice. Breakfast was delicious and all home made. A hosts ! Highly recommend. (and I am a seasoned traveller)

They are located right on the edge of the town of Oranmore about a 10 minute walk into town & about a 10 minute drive to Galway. The only important would be air conditioning. Everything else was wonderful, the hosts are friendly, breakfast was wonderful, the rooms were clean and the comfortable. Plenty of hot water and convenient location, 10 minutes from Galway harbor.

Ann and her husband were absolutely fantastic hosts. The bed was comfortable and room was nice and clean. The breakfast they served was the best on our 9 day trip around Ireland. They also gave great recommendations for dinner and laundry services within walking distance.

Michael and Ann are fabulous hosts. The village of Oranmore is quaint and a short stroll from the Inn. The rooms are very comfortable, and Ann is a fabulous cook. Michael shared tips about Ireland each morning at breakfast. A great place to stay!

With just one night to explore Galway on our drive, the Oranhill Lodge was a perfect choice. Convenient location, free parking, super clean and comfortable bed and bathroom, with very friendly hosts offering free made-to-order breakfast. Fantastic way to conclude our tour of Irland! Michael and Ann were very welcoming and have created an amazing B&B. Comes with the most devine breakfast. The house was immaculately clean and the rooms (specifically the beds) were very comfortable. Great water pressure in shower and bathroom. It’s located in a quiet area, which was perfect. 15 minute drive into Galway didn’t feel long. The small town of Oranhill is lovely, and the grocery store is only a few minutes away from Lodge. I highly recommend staying and will be returning in the future.
