"We had a wonderful stay at this Orient Bay villa and would gladly return. Anna was a joy to work with—her communication was prompt and clear, and she made check-in and check-out effortless while also being genuinely friendly and helpful throughout.The home was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, from appliances to everyday conveniences. The private pool was an added plus and made relaxing at the villa even more enjoyable.The location is hard to beat—just minutes from Orient Bay Village shops, restaurants, and the beach, making everything easy and convenient. Overall, a clean, well-supplied, and perfectly located property that we would absolutely plan future trips around."

"This was our first time staying on the French side, at Esmeralda. Overall, it is a decent resort; it consists of small villages, each containing four guest rooms. The rooms themselves are spacious and clean, and every village shares a swimming pool among its four units. The resort grounds feature a French restaurant serving very delicious food. Another nice perk is that the resort has its own private beach area, for which you can make reservations. There is a designated parking spot right next to your village, which is very convenient. Now, for the things we didn't like: First, beach towels are issued only at the reception desk, which is located quite far from the beach itself; if you need to exchange a towel, you have to walk all the way back to reception. Second, regarding the "included breakfast": in reality, it does not correspond to a "continental breakfast" as we understand it in the American sense. The breakfast offering consists of coffee, a small croissant, and jam, along with one type of cereal and a yogurt-like product that tastes more like sour cream. There is no cream cheese, no eggs—nothing of the sort; you have to pay extra for all of those items. We have stayed on the Dutch side many times, and the included continental breakfast there was a completely different experience. Third, beach reservations must be made either at the reception desk or directly at the beach itself. We made our reservation immediately upon arrival"

"The hotel location is excellent to walk everywhere - beach, restaurants, shops. The staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable, especially Elena. The room was spacious, clean and had everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation. The breakfast is improved from last year and has more options to choose from. The restaurant staff could improve in greeting clients and restaurant cleanness."

"The room has a beautiful view and the daytime beach walk to Orient Bay shops and restaurants is less than 20 minutes on the beach. If you are going to walk back and forth, take a good flashlight due to lack of nightime lighting. The drive is 10 minutes and parking is plentiful in Orient Bay but crowded at property location in the evening. A rental car is needed to view the island but traffic to the airport area and back can be challenging - 10 miles can take an hour."

"This was the best hotel stay we have ever experienced. Upon arrival we were greeted with the friendliest reception staff. The entire week that was carried through with every staff member we encountered. Our room was very clean and daily housekeeping kept it sparkling all week. The grounds are gorgeous and the walk through the gardens to the beach took my breath every time. We are already planning our return trip next year. "

"The TV could not get any United States stations. Property manager had an attitude when we called for any assistance. Maids came unannounced and on days we didn't expect them. Pool was cold. Furniture was uncomfortable. Mosquitoes were in every room. No clothes dryer in room. "
