Family trip

The stay was okay overall. The first night, it got pretty hot, and I had to message the host about the A.C., but it was cooler the next night. The place doesn’t have basic amenities like a blow dryer and other essentials you would expect.The most disappointing part was the experience after my granddaughter left her phone there. The host initially tried to charge me 20 to ship it, even though her mother lives nearby. She ended up having to drive there four times because each visit we were given the runaround. They finally found the phone on the fourth visit. Very frustrating and disappointing experience with how the lost item was handled.

Not great

The house itself was nice enough. However, the description listed the house as Brand New and this house was not new. There were stains and dirt on the walls, baseboards were very dusty/dirty, the carpet looked years old and was stained and dirty. There was not an iron and ironing board as advertised and we had to ask repeatedly for one to be brought to the house. We paid for the “spa” to be heated and the temperature didn’t change. Then on the 5th day the pool cleaning guy was there and said that the breaker box that controlled the pump/heater was off and there was no way it was heating the spa. The security people at the gate to the neighborhood are slow and the check-in process for the first day to get in through the gate took forever with cars backed up down the street. One of the joysticks to video arcade game in the game room was broken. Overall, the house served its purpose but it wasn’t the best experience and I would not stay there or in that neighborhood again.
