Could have been amazing, but missed the mark.
The resort is a nice, large neighborhood with awesome staff. This unit backs up to the pond & has a patio & hottub. The club pool is warm but small & the pool deck/pool were busy most of our stay with weather in low 60s. The Tiki bar is affordable & has great staff. The resort feels very isolated. it takes about 15 minutes to Old Town, longer to Disney, etc. Not a good area for a runner.
Our issues started at check in. The unit has only a single key - not a code which inhibits separating from your travel party. Our key got stuck in the lock upon check in and the owner was unresponsive until the next day - we couldnt leave. The unit is lovely and has a great starter set of TP/soap, but lacks kitchen necessities like a cookie sheet and utensils. The cook pans (minus a frying pan) are beat up and the utensils are melted plastic. There isn't an instruction manual for the TV or when the hottub is serviced. The hottub cover is falling apart and duct taped together and styrofoam and leather pieces ended up in the hottub (gross). The master toilet runs and needs repair and the shower is incorrectly where it turns on to hot and not cold. Most of the vertical blinds are not complete. in the master, there were many missing and the curtains are sheer, so it was light in the bedroom every morning and you could see bedroom activity from outside. The doorwall screen/track broken. We had service come out 2x (very nice workers) not how we want to spend a vacation. My fam says 3 stars
