March 2023 Disney Vacation
The property itself is quite nice. It was spacious, clean, kid-friendly and well decorated. Unfortunately, there were some issues that we addressed our first day there that were never addressed.
Our issues included:
1. Ice maker and water dispenser were not working.
2. Air hockey table did not work.
3. XBox system is set up for 2 players but only had one controller.
4. Pool/Whirlpool was quite cool. Maintenance did arrive the following day but never spoke to us so I don't know what adjustments they may have made. No one ever replied to these other concerns even though we sent 3 follow-up emails.
Other Notables:
POOL:
The outdoor temps during our stay were between 70-85 degrees so frigid temps were not an issue. We were told that if we wanted a hot whirlpool we needed to keep the jets running at all times which meant remembering to reset the jet timer on an hourly basis. You can heat either the pool OR the whirlpool, not both. So a warmer whirlpool (never hot) means a cool pool. We've rented vacation homes many times and this was the first one not to provide pool towels. This required our family of 12 to be constantly washing bath towels. The floor of the pool was very rough. All our children had cuts and scrapes requiring bandages.
KITCHEN:
There were no kitchen towels. All kitchen dinnerware was glass. Plastic for kids would be nice.
BEDROOMS
The kids rooms are very well decorated and our children loved them. The pirate beds in the listing have been removed so I'd suggest they update the photo.
Extra blankets would be nice. Each bed only had one sheet and lightweight quilt. The beds were new and very firm.
The listing states the home is a short walk to the resort. This should be removed as it's quite a jaunt.
The resort is very nice and our family enjoyed using it. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
