Summary:
60 seconds to sand - Put your flip-flops on, grab some beach gear, and you're on the beach in 60 seconds. This updated 1950s bungalow is the perfect beach escape. You're walking distance to the beach and local restaurants. This is the perfect location to experience Ormond-by-the-Sea, Daytona and Flagler beaches. 1 hour to historic St. Augustine. 6 minutes to charming downtown Ormond shops and restaurants. Only 1 hour away from awesome theme parks in Orlando. Hiking, Kayaking & fishing nearby.

The Space:
This fully updated beach bungalow has 2 bedrooms that both have ensuite full bathrooms. A full kitchen with all the basics, a fun themed coffee bar, an exterior garage with fun beach toys, a ping-pong table, an outdoor shower to rinse off the beach sand, and a fully fenced in large private yard.... all just a 1 minute walk to the beach.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire home including the separate private garage that can be used to park your motorcycles for Bikeweek, or just to hang out and play ping-pong or other provided games and enjoy the beach breeze.

The Neighborhood:
OBS (Ormond by the Sea) is a charming and quiet beach community with immediate beach access and walkable shops and restaurants.

Getting Around:
Walk to the beach via private beach access. Please use crosswalk.

Other Things to Note:
Total of 7 guests. 6 adults and 1 child. The 7th bed is a fold out bed recliner for a child or smaller adult. No Parties. Park vehicles on the driveway, please no lawn parking for any reason, we have enough parking in the driveway for 5 cars.

Interaction with Guests:
We are always available via message to help.

Our home is on a septic system. Guests must follow rules regarding plumbing. Please no food items down the kitchen sync, there is no disposal. Discard scrap food in the garbage. Guests must rinse off beach sand prior to entering the home using the outdoor shower. The outdoor shower has both warm and cold water for convenience. Do not rinse sand off in the bathroom showers or tubs, this will damage the plumbing and cause serious issues. Please do not flush hygiene products down the toilets, and only use provided sceptic friendly toilet paper.

Great property and amenities. The owners took extra care in providing anything and everything needed for an easy vacation- beach gear, local guide, etc. Everything is labeled and easy to find. When we arrived the cleaner was finishing up and the house was spotless. Easy parking and convenient location.

Beach getaway

This is an adorable little beach cottage in a great, quiet location. It is literally 60 secs to the sand. There are wonderful restaurants nearby. Pack your bags.

Perfect Location

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything you could need. It was a short walk across the street to the beach, which was perfect for us. The location was an excellent…close enough to everything yet far enough away for privacy and relaxation. I would have liked a patio and chairs in the backyard. Other than that it was a beautiful place to stay. The owners were very friendly and communicative.

Well appointed and close to beach

Literally 100 yards walk to beach. Sunrise and sunset are the best beach times for us. The place was perfect with the right amount of space, pots/pans, linens, and yard. Owners responsive to questions and issues (all minor).

My new home away from home

This little bungalow house was not only adorable, it was meticulously clean. Although not an extremely spacious house, the second living area made up for it with privacy for the teenager. The location was perfect- close to downtown Daytona, but far enough away to be able to relax without the chaos. I will definitely be back!

A great little stay

We came to Ormond Beach for a birthday celebration for an extended weekend. This was the a great place and wonderful location. It is a quick walk to the beach and the beach was so quiet and not crowded at all. This was a cute and clean place with plenty of space for us. I loved the decor and it had plenty of amenties that satisfied our needs. The extra building in the large backyard stored many extras for the beach and also games and a ping pong table that was used quite a bit. There is also a very nice sized fenced in yard.This was a great place for a nice price and the owners were always helpful when needed. Give this one a try!

Nice House Walking Distance to Beach

We had a good stay. It is nice to see the owner make extra effort to make the property appealing - nice fixtures, surfing themed, waters in fridge, good coffee, little extras like a sound machine, etc. It elevates this property over most others in this price range. It would be nice if a door could be added to the 2nd sleeping area beside the kitchen.

Amazing

This place was the best rental for the value we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The hosts have thought of almost anything and everything that is possibly needed during your trip. From coffee, beach toys, towels, chairs, ping pong, it is awesome. The yard is huge and was able to play ball with the kids. Inside and outside is beautiful, clean, and just really nice. The town was very relaxed and you can’t beat the 60 second walk to the beach. Well worth every penny and hope to be back!

A weekend get away!!

We absolutely enjoyed the comfort of this home. This was our first time staying away from Daytona and was the best decision we made. The home is fully equipped with anything that one may need. Infact, I was so busy before we left out for our trip I forgot to pack our fan. Well that was not a problem because one was available there. The neighborhood is quiet with friendly neighbors and atmosphere. We will stay here again if we get the opportunity. The owners are great. The hospitality they have for their quest is genuine. There is plenty in the garage to entertain also. We did not get to enjoy the bikes and the ping pong because we never took time to look until we went to put up a body board that the owner had amazon to deliver on our first day on the beach. My husband was amazed. We will be back when we get a chance and if the home is available. Thanks to the owners for such a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy a few days away from our daily routines. 😀

My brother lives in a condo a couple minutes away and he doesn’t have an extra bed and parking. I usually have a trailer for work. So there is plenty of space for parking. The bed is very comfortable and place is quiet for being so close to the main road. Vrbo doesn’t make it easy to extend your stay. So I messaged Laraine and she told me to book it and she refunded me the extra cleaning fee. I have stayed there 3 times and will definitely stay here again.
