Radisson Blu Hotel, Bergamo Choruslife

8/10 Good

"Very well presented modern hotel, situated between two tram stops on the T1 Line. It appears construction of a stop outside the hotel is at an advanced stage, and that would be ideal. While waiting for our room we explored the Chorus Life facilities and had lunch at GNAM. This was a popular area with locals in the evening, even when there was not an official event at the Chorus stadium. Our room was of a very decent size. The balcony was huge and the table and chairs looked a bit lost. The planting around the balcony edge provides a refuge for mosquitoes and we are both covered in bites. The multitude of light switches is somewhat baffling, there are no English Language channels on the TV, although casting is possible and we did use YouTube music. Breakfast was more than ample and never overcrowded despite the hotel being almost full. We found travel to Citta Alta very easy via Tram and the 1/1A bus from the train station area."

"A lovely setting on the quiet end of Como beautiful views ferry small walk away selection of cafes and bars nearby and a super breakfast very welcoming easy access to station 10 min walk will look forward to going back"

Villa Rêverie - Boutique Hotel

"We stayed here for 3 nights and I have nothing but good things to say about Villa Rêverie. The staff warmly greeted us and were super friendly, kind, and helpful. They insisted we sit out on the balcony and enjoy a welcome drink of prosecco overlooking Lake Como while they checked us in and brought up our luggage to the room. They offer free transportation to their restaurant in Varenna, and the driver was really laid-back and full of good energy, as were all the staff. The hotel is about an 8-minute walk from Bellano train station and sits in a very calm, quiet part of the lake, which is great if you don't want the noise of other tourists. The breakfast was amazing and definitely worth grabbing before heading out for the day. The ONLY complaint I would have is that the AC isn't really the best, but we truly only felt this at night. Other than that, we will definitely be returning for future trips to Lake Como. They plan to open a restaurant downstairs from the hotel around spring 2027, but if you're looking for a dinner spot near the hotel, I highly recommend checking out "Truth"."

"Our experience at Hotel Belvedere was simply unforgettable. This is one of those rare places that stays with you long after you leave. First, the hotel itself is an absolute dream. It is beautiful beyond words, with incredible attention to detail everywhere you look. The property is impeccable, the setting is breathtaking, and the spa and restaurants were wonderful. Everything feels thoughtfully designed and cared for. But as extraordinary as the hotel is, what made our stay truly unforgettable was the people. Every single person we encountered made us feel cared for, not in a formal or rehearsed way, but with a warmth and sincerity that felt completely genuine. Hotel Belvedere somehow manages to make you feel like a very special guest from the moment you arrive. Beautiful surroundings can make a hotel memorable, but it is the people who make you want to return. Thank you for giving us such beautiful memories of Bellagio. We left feeling incredibly grateful and already hoping to return."
