"Friendly people in a beautiful area! The views are amazing! The lodge is not too big, and not too small... and the architecture blends in nicely with the scenery. Our balcony was nice and deep! It was great to still be able to safely enjoy that sheltered sense of being up in the woods and watch as a summer rainstorm passed through the area. "

"This was a wonderful family get a way. The basement level with arcade and rock wall was a big hit with the children. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous. Nice spacious common areas to dine and visit and unwind. It rained 1 night but was still enjoyable listening to rain on tin roof while relaxing on the porch. The walking trails were also a nice attraction for all of us. I was so glad that the property is pet friendly so our babies could vacation too. Would definitely visit again."

"The cabin could have been cleaned better..there was insulation blowing out of the registers...but was equipped with cooking utensils, dishes, pans and skillets. Liked the cabin layout and beds were comfortable. Had a great time at Red River Gorge.."
