"Great hotel, would definitely stay there again. We arrived in the middle of the night and the Receptionist was so welcoming. Room was lovely, bed was very comfortable and bathroom really nice! We went to the bar on the top floor but was disappointed. Would be better if there was table service."

"The beds were very nice - supportive, but not rock hard like so many European hotels. The bathroom was cramped, but functional, and several elements of design were actually very impressive, such as how such a small shower, with magnetic half-rounded doors and space at the bottom do not flood the bathroom. That is very clever design. The location is not the most convenient, but it is workable."

Weekends it is till 11 which was essential for me as an oversees traveler. Rooms a small, but enough to sleep in and get ready to explore the city. Would absolutely love to stay there again. "

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and would gladly return again on our next trip to Oslo. The location is truly excellent — within walking distance of major tourist attractions, as well as countless restaurants, cafés, pubs, bars, and shops. Public transportation access was also incredibly convenient, with easy connections to train stations and the airport, which made traveling around the city stress-free. Our room was spacious, quiet, very clean, and located on the first floor, which we appreciated after a long international trip. The room included all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of this hotel was the breakfast buffet. It was honestly one of the best hotel breakfasts we have experienced, with a wonderful variety and excellent quality selections. Another thoughtful touch was the sitting area next to the lobby where guests could freely access still water, sparkling water, tea, and coffee throughout the day. This was such a great convenience — no need to deal with boiling water in the room or being limited to instant coffee. Every member of the staff was friendly, respectful, professional, and genuinely eager to help. The level of service and hospitality we experienced here was honestly better than some 5-star hotels we have stayed at in the past. "We opted for the smaller sized rooms mainly because it was the cheaper option. The room was very clean and it was completely adequate for what we needed. Slight downside to the smaller room was there wasn’t a table or anywhere to put anything. We made it work, but for some, this could be problematic. The pressure of the water in the shower was pretty decent. They aren’t offering cleaning services for short stays currently, but if you need anything, the staff would be able to help you out. Despite the hotel have some members of staff on strike (mainly housekeeping and restaurant staff), the rest of the staff couldn’t do enough for you. Location of the hotel was fantastic. Everything is practically on your doorstep! Oslo itself isn’t very big and we managed to walk to everything. For others, the bus stop/tram stop is easily accessible and just up the street from the hotel. The bus terminus and train station are about a ten minutes walk away. The room didn’t come with tea/coffee making facilities but after reading somebody else’s review, the reception staff provided us with a kettle, no problem. Breakfast had a lovely variety of options which would suit most people. There was even a gluten free section, away from the other foods meaning they catered for people with dietary issues. Overall, the hotel had what we needed and was clean. Friendly staff, from reception to the restaurant staff. Lovely hotel."

"Although Staff was on strike, Check in went well. Beautiful lobby, outside terrasse, very well situated (train station, opera, Munch museum, etc.). Quality price is ok. In the afternoon, kinda rotten-cabbage smell went through the hotel, staff told me it was the neighbour building throwing ts garbage. This is not acceptable."
