"The rooms were spacious and well maintained. The view over the garden was magical. This is a real old-fashioned hotel in the best ways: attentive staff and little extras that make you feel special. While it is a bit out of the center of things, it is well worth a bit of extra travel."

"Great hotel. Central location. Shinjuku station was easy walk. Great for getting anywhere. Hotel clean and comfortable. Plenty to eat and see. Nightlife outside was interesting but did not interfere with enjoyment of hotel stay. Godzilla theme was cool."

"Clean room and onsen. The location was nice and quiet. Good breakfast options. Also walking distance to a donki that's not extremely busy with tourists like the one in shibuya. The only caveat for me was they don't offer luggage delivery to my next destination but staff did instruct me to use the Lawson right next to the hotel to mail my luggage."
