"This place was amazing and so glad we took a chance with no posted reviews. I will say the only down side is the two twin beds were not separated when looking at pictures provided."

The Lodge at Ashford Castle was honestly one of the best stays we've ever had in Ireland - the service and staff were out of this world! Everyone was so attentive and welcoming (even with our pup - so hard finding dog-friendly hotels in Ireland, let alone one that rolls out the red carpet!). Gorgeous location with lots of great walks. Breakfast was delicious and super hearty for a day of adventuring. And loved all the activities offered at the castle. We hope to come back some day!

I rarely write a review of a hotel, but I feel compelled to review Ryan Hotel because it was such a pleasant stay. The food at the adjoining bar, the Crow's Nest, was great and the BusEireann stops in front of the pub. The breakfast was good, the king size bed was the most comfortable on our trip and the room was very pleasant. The best thing was the staff who went to great lengths to help us, including asking a guest who was being picked up by a friend and driving to Galway to give us a ride. Stunning location and grounds. The staff are so warm and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable and very private. Plenty of towels, robes, spa shower products. Luxurious rooms. Great variety in dining options, local food suppliers. Great history in the hotel & grounds. Endless chances to explore & try new activities from kayaking, clay pigeon shooting, archery, walking, falconry fishing. The spa is beautiful & really relaxing, very helpful staff with plenty of privacy. Delicious breakfast...

We had an excellent stay at the Connemara Coast Hotel. I could not fault them on anything. They handled all of the restrictions really well and every single member of staff was friendly and accommodating. Cannot recommend the hotel highly enough and have been telling everyone about it since we left.

Overall a great experience,, only disappointment was when I checked out I settled my bill and then another €18.00 was taken from my account
It may not seem like much but that incident casts a shadow of doubt on the experience and I’m afraid I wouldn’t be comfortable returning,, it’s a pity but in today’s technology mistakes like that shouldn’t occur

The Hawthorn is a destination hotel, gorgeous decor, fantastic staff, super location, drop your bags, breathe and relax. Plenty to do on the grounds with a gorgeous golf course and fantastic walks, or indulge in the spa. Sure sign of a great hotel is when you don’t want to leave and I didn’t!

Our three day stay at Lough Inagh Lodge hotel lived up to its score of 10 out of 10. The hotel is the essence of comfort and old world charm. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is excellent and the service is 5 star. Super location right in the heart of Connemara.
