"Great location if u are w a car; staff was very attentive, room was lovely and very functional and breakfast was great w variety and fresh items. Antonella checked me in and since the gym was not open, she let me borrow 2 weights so I could work out in my room; both male bartenders in the evening (my apologies, I did not get their names) were so accommodating and Laura at breakfast on Sunday was so lovely and attentive. GREAT hotel when u visit Matera."

"Great place to stay in Matera. One block from the piazza and everything in the piazza including the Sassi. The rooms are not luxurious but are comfortable and very clean. Wi-Fi is very reliable and decently fast. Worked fine for everyday use and for streaming. The breakfast was very good. Nothing excessive and nothing hot. But lots of great choices from cereals, fruit, pastries, pies, cheese, bread, and meats."

"We were welcomed so warmly by a lovely gentleman named Mario. The whole staff were kind, helpful and friendly. Our room was large, clean and comfortable with beautiful views of the ravine and historic caves. Breakfast in the morning was comprehensive, fresh, and delicious. I have celiac and they provided a gluten free basket of goodies for me every morning. A lovely boutique hotel with wonderful staff, I would stay here again."

"Hotel is located in a quiet industrial area outside town. Takes 15 min to drive to the old town but we had no problem finding a paid parking lot. Hotel is new and impeccably maintained. Great breakfast. Nice pool. We’d definitely stay there again next time we’re in Matera."
