"Everything about our stay at the hotel was excellent, such a great location ! Our room was so lovely and how fun to sleep in a beautiful cave . All the staff were so helpful and kind from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was delicious and special to have piano music to begin our day . Thank you making our stay in Matera so memorable."

"Lovely property. You need a car if going to old Matera. Grocery store close by. Pretty grounds and great pool (although like most Italian pools, not heated.) we found easy parking lots near the historic area so it is ok. The photos are deceiving because the spa whirlpool tub is not included - you have to pay 100 euro per couple to use those amenities. That should be made clear in the listing or they shouldn't show the photos. " Cave" hotel room is fun but only a window at door and in bathroom. Very nice breakfast and nice staff."

"Una hotels I love. Clean and updated. Parking free and easy. Staff amazing. This hotel had a restaurant and bar which was nice. Outside the old city but easy to get there by car. Not close to restaurants or shopping but nice for easy access."

"Room was great. Staff did well. Overall good but a lot of the advertising is not correct. Air conditioning did not work well; there’s no onsite laundry; the bar / lounge and deli is really the front desk selling a few items. This is not a staff issue - all were great. This is a structural problem with management. "

"We had a fantastic stay. We highly recommend it. Staff was really friendly and helpful with booking dinners and providing recommendations. The room was spacious and quiet! The comment area terrace was the best. Coffee in the morning or a drink in the afternoon. A wonderful stay."

"the place was absolutely beautiful, and the views were simply amazing. We had our own restaurant outside our room (a patio table and we got our own wine and snacks and had an awesome view). Highly recommend and central to everything."

"The staff was very helpful and attentive . The parking lot and taxi arrangements were spot on . Trust the process if you have a rental car . The spa was very relaxing and extremely clean . Samir is awesome and everywhere . He is alot stronger than he looks as he managed our large luggage up and down the steps . So are the desk managers . This hotel was an excellent location ."
